I put on a mean tailgate, if I do say so myself. The idea of tailgating is so fucking brilliant, I wish we could have it here. So unashamedly redneck. I absolutely love it. Saw the Tampa Bay Rays on the same trip as my pic at the Citrus Bowl on the previous page. Didn't manage to get involved as we were a bit late but drinking and BBQ on a car park, there is literally nothing to dislike about that. There's really nothing quite like it. It's truly a beautiful thing.

This will be a top league within 5 years. Not just somewhere for stars to go for a final payday but producing great talent and importing world class players in their prime

Not just somewhere for stars to go for a final payday but producing great talent and importing world class players in their prime I hope it does personally, would add an extra "something" having Americans fully involved - may see the birth of something new other than the mundane Champions League format, and the coverage/spectacle may make the Premier League and Sky Sports realise it isn't the be all and end all!

I want us to completely steal Orlando's kit for our away one next year.
Edit- Re-take a deal with Adidas, not even change the badge, keep Orlando Health as sponsor... The works.

Orlando City for me, going to head down at the end of March from Savannah GA to watch them play DC United. It's only 285 miles each way. I've done that to Plymouth a few times Cousin Dupree fancy it?

It's a bit like watching a charity match. Washed up footballers playing out a last contract. It's happened before in the late 70's and early 80's when the likes of Pele, Best and Beckenbauer went out there for a last pay day. Never mind, Shea looks to have found his level.

what are away followings like in the mls?? Very close to non-existent. Proximity doesn't make it very realistic. As a Chicago Fire fan, the closest away game I could attend would be about a 6 hour drive. Shame really away days are part of parcel of being a fan, thats the advantage of a small country.

Good night out. Shea played well, going to be a good player in this league. Kaka was veery impressive for his work rate alone. Great atmosphere. Highlight though was the 3 blokes in Blackpool tops with the Oyston out scarfs .....

I kind of support two which annoys me! I've watched 10-15 Orlando games over the years as they were on YouTube in their USL Pro days. But then I've watched a lot of the New England Revs and they're a bloody good footballing side. Revs are not all that, brother.
And the irony of someone in England supporting the New England Revolution? Too much.

What does MLS stand for. Also if I am going to pick a team I want it to be the best and a team that is going to win everything. I dont want to pick another Stoke Who is the best team with the most money and biggest crowds

Watched the Real Salt Lake game on Saturday...awful, awful game! The league is hit and miss in that regard, sometimes you get really good matches, but there is a risk of some real snorefests too.

They're a better footballing side than most out there based on the last two seasons (that I've watched quite a bit off) anyway. They're a bit better than the usual League One standard.
