I see the new MLS season has kicked off.
Are we collectively following a team, picking our own or collectively not arsed about it?

Orlando Sc as it owned and managed by stokies Yes, because of the Phil Rawlins and Inchy Heath connection, it has to be Orlando for me. That they have two ex Stokies in Lewis Neal and Martin Paterson is a bonus - but I'm trying to forget that Shea was also on our books. Good luck to them all tonight. Selling out a 62,000 stadium for their first MLS game is bloody impressive. Phil has done a great job to get them this far.

I kind of support two which annoys me!
I've watched 10-15 Orlando games over the years as they were on YouTube in their USL Pro days.
But then I've watched a lot of the New England Revs and they're a bloody good footballing side.

I'd recommend Chicago Fire SC... We are building a Potters fan base here and would love to have some Fire supporters at the Brit!

Orlando for sure with Inchy there. They do get genuinely big crowds in the MLS.
Having not seen it, how does it compare to say the EPL, the Championship or SPL?

I appreciate the Stoke connection with Orlando, but as I've stated I'm a Fire fan. I hope Orlando does well, but that's as far as I'm going.

Why if Orlando have sold out The Citrus Bowl are they moving to a new 19,000 capacity stadium?

Why if Orlando have sold out The Citrus Bowl are they moving to a new 19,000 capacity stadium? Getting a "soccer specific" stadium was part of the deal with the MLS to get a franchise in Orlando. Plus like anything shiny and new the hype is there now and they've ran a fantastic marketing campaign to sell that one game out but it is just one game. I am surprised they didn't make the capacity of this new stadium bigger though.

Why if Orlando have sold out The Citrus Bowl are they moving to a new 19,000 capacity stadium? Because they will own it and therefore trouser all the revenue. But yeah, seems they could do with a bigger ground.

Why if Orlando have sold out The Citrus Bowl are they moving to a new 19,000 capacity stadium? 19,000 is about right. The 'new car smell' will be gone very shortly. I can see them having a strong and loyal fanbase, something like Portland, for instance. I think it'll be great, but believe me 19,000 is about right. It's still the States, no matter how you slice it.
