Klinsmann did, Inchy is just following on from that.
I watched them the other night in a friendly. As expected he was horrific there.

The only trick we missed was not having a sale or return clause in the original deal. That man is not, and never will be, a footballer.

Adrian Heath/Klinsmann thinking outside the box. He plays football shocker. Won't go down well on here.

USA has been experimenting with a back five, I think it's mostly to use Yedlin in his best role as a right wing back. Brek's been deployed as a left wing back when they've done this, and to his credit he scored a goal from a tough angle against Chile, but other than that he's just an accident waiting to happen. Very slow when it comes to turning, and still has the first touch of a brick wall.

Some people on this board actually thought he looked half decent. I was always envious of their optimistic view of life at the time and pictured them with simplistic smiles on their face as they watched Brek run from the space where the ball had just been played.

Can't imagine him having the tactical awareness or discipline to do a full back role effectively based on his performances for Stoke.

File away with arismendi under Tony Pulis' most successful foreign signings I don't think he was a Pulis signing, he doesn't fit the Pulis criteria and was signed at the time that 365 were trying to break the American market

MLS mate. Aka Major League Soccer. I will be at the match in person Sunday at the Citrus Bowl to see Brek unleashed on NYFC. I pity those sky blues ... Sorry mate, but the best you can say about Brek Shea is that he's very, very ordinary. I saw him play for Stoke in a pre-season friendly against Philadelphia last summer. He did score a goal; other than that he was unimpressive. Every other time I've seen him play for the US or Dallas he has been disappointing. He was hyped up by the press and his agents and Stoke paid way over the odds as a result. The MLS is roughly equivalent to the Football League Championship. Shea could not make the grade on loan at Birmingham (a Championship team) or at Barnsley (one level below). So I'll be very surprised if he makes the grade on his return to the MLS, especially in a first-year expansion team I'd love to be proved wrong because the MLS needs good home-grown players, but I wouldn't hold my breathe. That said, I hope you have a good season. Looking foward to Sporting Kansas City's home opener against the Red Bulls this weekend.

Call me a cynic but Edu was similarly not a typical Pulis type player although granted the situation at Rangers was one we exploited. Not to mention our recent attempt to sign Agudelo. I think there has been a bit of an American drive from the boardroom level

I think its nothing more than the US being a massive market for Stoke....whether that will continue after the agudelo farce then i doubt it. The US betting market for bet365 is still a legal and logistical nightmare at present.
