I read somewhere that there was no alcohol at the ground for away fans but I've also just read this Near the bottom, Pubs for away fans I certainly hope they sell beer

Where does Shawcross go if he's fit? In the team / On the bench 100% in the team with a shadow of doubt.

WBA need 9-10 points in March and April because their May fixtures list is horrible Manure, Chelski and Arse. So they'll be looking for at least draw. Should be typical Pullisball, 10 players behind the ball and hoof it up the field. Could go either way but probably a low scoring draw (0-0, or 1-1). Hoping for Stoke win 1-0 or 2-1.

If he plays Diouf though, it has to be through the middle as he's pretty useless out wide. In that scenario it's probably Jon on the right with Arnie missing out, and I'd be tempted to start him after his promising cameo last time out.

I'd rather have Diouf's pace. Barring more injuries (!), would bring on Waters for Adam when he gets knackered after 60-70 minutes, or bring on Cameron for Adam as DM and move Nzonzi up.

They seem to have a few injury problems. He speaks well of "the family" and the core of pros he left, as you'd expect...

Interestingly he never complimented MarkHughes when asked and in fact sidestepped and avoided it and chose to mention the players he'd left behind He normally gushes with praise for managers he's about to face

Without a doubt He again mentioned Europe, QFs, and cup final instead of mentioning Hughes He also mentioned that it was WBAs first QF in 8 years It's all about him isn't it

That was a bit of a lame press conference. TP seemed to try to be taking the credit for the recent team success. Pulis has a ceiling, and he hit it at Stoke, replacing him has shown to be an excellent decisions for Stoke's upward mobility.

Probably bitter that Leslie could do in one season what he couldn't with £££ and six seasons, change our football and finish top half.

I thought it was a quite extraordinary press conference He's guided by the questions of course but a good 80/90% of that was Stoke !! Still a massive part of his life, rightly so Wouldn't have been happy as a West Brom fan watching that though !!

Notably TP said "we're desperate for three points". So maybe they'll push up the field a bit and give up some space to our quicker players. I'm more confident of an away win now than I was at the start of the week.

He basically said it was all down to him, and he just couldn't bring himself to mention Mark Hughes, never mind giving him any credit.

If the deluded fuckwits at WBA start up with the 'Pride of the Midlands' crap this Saturday I hope we have a decent enough retort ready to hand.
