All three had great games. Whelan shaded the MoM for me from Wilson. I agree. Whelan was on fire and the man in the trenches lifting the entire team for me. It set the tone of the match. Wilson was the best CB on the pitch tonight and Cameron read the opposition well and helped secure the clean sheet.

To be honest I can't fault any of them. Bardsley was good as well.

Whelan got my vote tonight but The character shown by every player tonight was superb. Back four changed again through injury so we re shuffled but you would never had guessed. Second half we looked tired but we dug in and got the 2nd. Superb Stoke

And Nzonzi and Adam and Pieters and Moses. I thought it was a very solid display all round. Adam's fight in the first half was a very welcoming display, as with Bardsley. Adam played some wonderful passes including the one which setup Bardsley to cross over to Moses for that wonderful header.

Wilson was excellent tonight, but I thought Moses had his best game in a Stoke shirt.
As an aside, I'm starting to feel a little bit sorry for John Stones. He's only 20 years old and he's had all this pressure dumped on him by the media, Woy and Martinez as the next BIG thing.
Obviously he's got a lot of talent and a great deal of potential, but everyone around him seemed to have got a massive lob on and threw him straight in the deep end straight away.

Whelan MoM all day long, but Zonz makes things look so easy. He really is first class in every way.
Well done Wilson and Geoff - really great work. They don't look 'cobbled together' by any means. Very professional and solid performance from them.

Never underestimate the value of character - and our lot have got it in spades. I really hope we don't see any more mindless threads this season slagging the likes of Wilson and Cameron .... what are the odds???

All three had great games. Whelan shaded the MoM for me from Wilson. Totally agree with this one! Whelan was superb and was everywhere! Wilson has just been excellent in all the last 3 games, and today I agree Cameron deserves a special mention too! Just thrilled!

Bardsleys reaction to 3 Everton players pushing him just before the cross for the first goal was perfect. One yellow away from suspension he took all the ill tempered attempts to try and wind him up, calmly took the throw in. Two minutes later he provided the perfect response. A peach of a cross to Moses. The best two fingers to an Everton team that were clearly at that point simply trying to wind us up.

Whelan was absolutely outstanding, his best performance of the season - clearly MOTM. I'm not a massive fan of Wilson at centre back but credit where it's due, he was very, very good tonight.

I've got to give it to Wilson. I thought he really stepped up when the team needed it with Cameron in there.
He helped steady the ship and brought the best out of Geoff.
Harsh on Whelan who was superb.

Martinez is always banging on about "playing the game the right way", he clearly sent them out to target Adam and rough us up. Sign of a manager running scared, I'm so glad it backfired and well done Charlie for not biting. Excellent nights work.

He's really stepped up to the plate and shown commanding leadership qualities that I didn't think he had in him. Huge credit to Wilson. He's had 3 superb games since coming back into the team.
