Evans has released a statement via the club saying he didn't spit.
I am confused because it must be true and the camera must lie after all.

Cisse has apologised for something Evans said didn't happen?! If required, the pair would be good counsel for Adam Johnson?!

There's talk of a six game ban for Evans, and a seven game ban for Cisse because he had a ban earlier in the season for violent conduct.....still don't think they are long enough. SCUM the pair of them

Typical of a manure player. The only trouble is, that if they do lose him (he's not that good), it won't make much difference to them.

So one player has admitted his guilt and the papers are suggesting he will get a 7 game ban.
The other player is denying he has ever spat in his life and says he would never spit. Did my eyes deceive me when I watched his actions on MOTD last night?
If admitting your guilt gets 7 games, then what does denying the whole thing deserve: 14 games, 20 games, a whole season?

Im beginning to despise that twat, he's fast approaching the level of hate I have for wenger Man United have already passed Arsenal for me. I can't think of a team I dislike more. Does this mean Stoke don't have true rivalries, that you have to hate on teams that barely impact Stokes season, because to Arsenal and United, Stoke are just 2 games to get through, not the hated enemy.

Apparently Cisse will be handed a 7 match ban. I bet Evans gets off with it claiming he's got slobber Tourette's. Gouranga.

Have to be honest...and it hurts because its the Shit....but I thought Evans didn't seem to spit AT Cisse.
Not really acceptable to spit in that situation and so close to an opponent when you're clearly not about to have a friendly chat but it looked pretty innocuous to me.

As a United fan, I can honestly say, the worst punishment the F.A. can give to United is to make Evans eligible to play. He's a freakin liability!

I find this crazy, if you spit at somebody you get a 6 game ban but if you put your studs down the back of a players leg like figueroa or even stamp on a shin(barnes) v matic then nowt is done! The FA anner got a feck in clue!

Either Evans should be found innocent (i.e. his explanation should be accepted) or he should receive a longer ban for lying. If they ban just for spitting that's saying he is a liar as such the lie should be punished too.

The FA anner got a feck in clue! I couldn't work out how that Sunderland, refereeing mistake went down. They send off Brown, instead of O'Shea. Sunderland appeal an obvious mistake, so it's taken off Brown's record, but not given it to O'Shea, who it was meant for? How they couldn't overturn it through 4th official video replay in all the time they spent dithering about it is on thing. Having time to go through an appeal process and still mess up the outcome is truly baffling. They don't fix mistakes when they should, or tweak rules to comply with common sense. Instead they dither around stupid rules and stay in the dark ages with technology, so that decades after line technology in tennis can spot a ball graze the line at 100 miles an hour, do they finally use goal line technology to see a much bigger ball, go passed a line and 3 posts. The 4th official, with a replay monitor, could have overruled the Wes Brown sending off in seconds.

Amazing that Evans has come out and denied it. What a fucking shithouse. At least Cisse has come out and said "yep, I'm in the wrong, I'll take the punishment". Evans is going to drag this out (probably because he needs to play against the Arse this weekend) and still get the same length ban. Probably deserves an extension for his cuntishness imo.

6 match ban for Evans 7 match ban for Cisse Cisse gets an extra game because he has already been red carded this season. So it appears the fact that Cisse came straight out and admitted what he did, whilst Evans flat out denied his crime, hasn't been taken into consideration, when awarding the punishments? Well done FA ...

Odd that Evans spits at Cisse and Evans gets 6 games, Cisse reacts in a horrible manner and gets 7, all this despite Cisse admitting it and Evans denying it, surely it should be the Evans gets a harsher punishment of say 10 games and Cisse a slightly more lenient one of say 5 games
