I see Stan Collymore is wittering on about knowing "what we are" on Twitter. Anybody have a clue what he's talking about? Pride of the Midlands?

No campaign for Irvine, and most would accept that Tonys doing a good job. I live and work with Baggie fans who have done a complete turnaround with regard to Tone. Reading that board I can't wait to take the pee at the hawthorns(although I suspect they'll win 1-0). How do you watch this every week, and of course I'd rather go down than watch this shit

Against Southampton at the weekend there seemed quite a few empty seats, was that in keeping with the crowds they've had all season?

Sherwood just said tonight's result shows how far Villa have come.

So the Pulis away day philosophy remains unchanged... and Baggies away fans pledging to stop going....... Deja vu.. I wondered how long the love in would last.

Let's be fair. A thread relating to WBA poor negative showing last night has been removed, but as the statistics below show WBA did not deserve a result from the match and Villa took the offensive, put in a lot of shots, and deserved to win. www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313657/stats

He did a good job for us, but what ultimately got him the push were games like this. Away from homa against poor teams, and not having a go. At 1-1 they were there for the taking. I thought the last straw for Pulis was the "steak and chips" comment?

One of my favourite Stoke photos; the despair of Villa, the joy of Stoke!

Someone should log on to that forum and ask them how it's going wih Pulis. Well anyone with sense would say pretty well in general. Second defeat since he took over. He's doing a good job as he did with us and Palace, yet sadly some are STILL desperate for him to fail. Very sad Wasn't it Tone himself who introduced the notion that if you were a felching and unquestioning disciple to all things Pulis you were considered sensible but you were not very much otherwise if you were not forever grateful for his miracles and questioned where the fuck he was leading us to? Good to see the distinction still lives!

Sherwood's ONE AND ONLY task is to keep Villa in the Premier League this season.
I think the Albion will beat them at the weekend.
