1. What's the biggest talking point of your season so far? Bojan, Premier League signing of the season even with the injury 2. Mark Hughes - how has he improved your club? (you're 12 pts up on last season already) Better players playing better football while keeping the work ethic and team spirit 3. Who is the most important player at your club and why? Shawcross, great defender and leader 4. What factor is stopping you from taking the next step and becoming regular challengers for a Europa placing? Not wanting to bankrupt the club 5. What is your opinion on the Premier League competition this year? A few good bottom beating top games but in the end looking like usual suspects at the top 6. Roberto Martinez - what is your opinion of him? Not as good as his reputation had become 7. Stoke v Everton on a cold Wednesday night at the Britannia Stadium - what happens next? 0-0 written all over it but sneaking feeling for another Crouch header for us to edge it 1-0 Feel free to register with us at any time where you'll be warmly received, and thanks to all who supported our recent football competitions. Hope it's a great game above all else and good luck for the rest of the season. Read more: oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/241426/stoke-everton-match-questionnaire-loveevertonforum#ixzz3TJwwEt9X

Welcome to the Oatcake. 1. What's the biggest talking point of your season so far? Just what could have been. We've dropped some really silly points over the course of this season. Whereas Southampton have had that bit of luck (and a few refs help them), we just haven't. Plenty of time for our luck to change though.2. Mark Hughes - how has he improved your club? Not knocking Pulis, but Mark has made the squad better as a whole. He has made average players good and he's been able to get the best out of our better players, something which Tony did only sporadically. The football has improved considerably, despite the media still peddling the long ball rubbish. We're not just a team of home brawlers anymore. We try to dominate both away and home and that is such a positive thing for the fans to see.3. Who is the most important player at your club and why? Ryan Shawcross. The last few weeks have shown how important he is. Without him, I genuinely feel we would be near the bottom of the table. He's probably worth 12 points on his own and that is no exaggeration. We are very lucky to have such a talented defender.4. What factor is stopping you from taking the next step and becoming regular challengers for a Europa placing? Finances and perhaps the legacy of the previous regime. It's obvious that there are players here that need to gracefully bow out (Wilson Palacios comes to mind). They're picking up a tasty 40 grand a week and for us, that's a big wage to be spunking on a player who is contributing nothing and ultimately prevents us from signing someone else.5. What is your opinion on the Premier League competition this year? It's not been the best. The teams at the bottom are so far off those above them. QPR were dreadful the other week. Hull were awful on Saturday. Villa equally shit the week before. Leicester fans think they're a top team but we beat them in 2nd gear on their own pad. There are some really poor teams at the bottom of the table. The standard at the top is also nowhere near the European elite. It's no surprise that Monaco spunked all over Arsenal, despite playing their second team. European elite? No chance, the Prem is way off at the moment.6. Roberto Martinez - what is your opinion of him? Hope I don't sound harsh here, but he's a fancy accent in an expensive suit. He's taken a good team and turned them into... well a Wigan tribute, except you've got far superior players. He has absolutely no excuse this time and I am amazed your support has considered to accept his lack of accountability. You're a good team, made up of good players and yet he's got you playing so poorly against teams you should be beating comfortably (like West Brom the other week). This is the first time since our return to the top league where coming into a game against Everton I've thought "we should beat these". I thought that for the away game too by the way. Say what you want about David Moyes, but I never once felt like that when he was in charge.7. Stoke v Everton on a cold Wednesday night at the Britannia Stadium - what happens next? We should win. We're playing well, we're on form, and you're on a bad run outside of the Europa. I'm going to say 1-0 however if Martinez sets you up right, you could sneak a draw. I'll be very disappointed if we lose!!Good luck though and hope you have a good away day (result excluded )

1. Aside from injuries, the 2 months we had from Bojan. The level of man love or possibly out and out gayness on here was threatening to reach epic levels. To say we are hoping he comes back to the same levels next season is the understatement of the year.
2. Going to away games to try and win them. All we can ask.
3. Ryan. Another 5 years and he'll be right at the top table of Stoke City legends.
4. An undiscovered budding Alan Shearer.
5. Same as ever, hate it. Couldn't give a toss who wins it. We have to be in it but that's not an endorsement.
6. Batting above his average! Was having Sunday lunch in Southport a couple of months ago and saw him pushing a pram past the Restaurant with his Mrs and I thought well done. Regarding football, what I like about Hughes is that we never hear from him apart from his contracted interviews whereas I didn't like seeing Martinez on the box last week as a pundit at some game or other. He has too much to worry about at present.
7. If we were all fit and firing I'd be confident but the pessimist in me thinks we might balls this one up. At this moment I'd happily take a point. I look forward to games where all three results are possible.
Like many I have no problems with Everton, a world away from those deluded Tossers from across the Park.

1. What the kin 'ell happened at Blackburn?
2. Seems to trust players to play football and move away from rigid formations.
3. Ryan. End off!!
4. Money to strengthen us in depth; bring in more quality; the existing players are good, but they have strengths and weaknesses; better quality players would lessen the weaknesses; also, a 20 goal a season forward - as if theyd come to stoke LOL,
5. Corruption; corrupt officials favouring the big teams ; corrupt players diving cheating etc ; corrupt FA happy to dine out as the whole system loses its credibility.
6. He did well at Wigan ; is everton too big a club for him?
7. Anything! We could win ; you could win; the ref may decide to take a starring role ; Mr Baines may be the 5th official; there may be a solar eclipse & the temperature may be in the 80's ; the heat from the incinerator may be piped into the seats to keep us all warm ; never trust stoke to deliver so I'll go 2-0 to the toffees!

Fair play to your team.
I don't think we did enough to have any complaints.
Once again thanks, and best of luck.
