Got told on Saturday that he'd had setback in his recovery and that he needed another minor knee op which had put him back a few weeks. Also a contract was there for him if he can prove his fitness either before the end of the season or in pre season.

Disappointing but no need to rush him.

Gutting as I was hoping he might not be that far away.
We really are going to have to stumble across the line unless Charlie steps up to the plate.

Disappointing but no need to rush him. Agree mate because he has to be right when he returns.

Injuries really have shafted us this season mate It's quite incredible how well we've done in spite of such horrendous luck with injuries. Hughes has done an outstanding job. With a war chest and a clean bill of health, God knows what he could achieve here!

It's also testament to the decent squad Hughes has built , we would never have had the depth of squad to cope a couple of seasons ago

We have not had a single break this season have we? Every bloody injury turns out to me much longer and much worse
Bloody amazing what we have achieved - simply outstanding

He was standing behind me in a box on Sat with his usual big grin! Hopefully he'll be back firing for the start of next season

We need PO fit and firing. Bojan has grabbed the headlines and the attention but PO's recovery is also very important for me.
Fingers crossed he comes back the same player - he's very fit for his age so I don't see why he can't make a 100% recovery.
He set us alight last season.

How do you know it's true? Because i wouldn't post it if it wasn't mate I wasn't doubting that. Is it absolutely true because you know it yourself though or is it because you believe it to be true based on who told you the info? For example, 2 weeks ago I was told that there was real doubts as to whether Shawcross would play again this season. Now I don't doubt the person that told me and I believe it to be true. I don't know its true though and there is a difference. I was just trying to establish which this is. Shame for Odemwingie if true because I know he genuinely believed he would play again this season.

As long as they're all fit by the start of next season. No need to rush him and Ryan back for the sake of a few points.

That has surprised me. A few people have seen him training hard. Even doing long distance, hard running. As recent as end of last week.

He's officially 33, every game he misses is gutting. He added great threat and balance to our side, would love to have him back but you gotta feel he's coming to the end of his career...
