I don't know why Barcelona bother with a B team, really. They should just send all of their players to us.

Roberto & Traore would moisten me in anticipation.
Is it OK to say that? Probably not...

This tweet may as well have finished with 'aka Stoke'. Assuming we would be interested I can't see how he'doge anywhere else. The question is, if he does come here, who does he replace? The vice captain who is ever present, greatly improved under Hughes and just signed a new contract.... Or Nzonzi? Maybe he will finally leave but he seems happier than he ever has been at Stoke and he's played virtually every minute.

What does it say? It's not coming up on my phone. It says 'I am Sergi and I love Mark Hughes, Bojan, Muni and Lofty Man Crouch and wet Wednesday evenings because you play before 11 o'clock at bloody night!. It would be nailed on that I come to Stoke, but that bloke following Bojan around hospitals is creeping me out'

But without Zubi at Barca, I don't think Hughes has his contact anymore

But without Zubi at Barca, I don't think Hughes has his contact anymore I think he was there long enough. Anyone at Barca can see how well Muniesa and Bojan have done and how much they like it here. Bojan is using their facilities at the moment and I'm sure he's only saying good things! Sergi Roberto is really good friends with both and that might be the combination that sways him here over other mid table prem teams.

What does it say? It's not coming up on my phone. Basically that if he doesn't get some first team football he'll leave in the summer and he'd prefer a move to England.

Sorry for being dense but does this mean he wants to be in the full barca squad or that he's not even getting games for Barca B?

He's a talented young player and that Barca squad is impossible to break into. You only have to look at the talent rolling around in the Barca B squad and on the fringes of the first team, they'd walk into the majority of top 10 teams minus perhaps Chelsea, Man Citeh and Man Utd. I'd even say a number would walk into Liverpool and Arsenal etc. There is talent there, and with Bojan over there hopefully putting in a good word, and I really hope he is, because he seemed to be enjoying his football before his injury so as long as he's also happy with the fan support and the staff including non-playing that can only mean good things. Stranger things have happened, and if Barca actually notice some of their talented youngsters really improving at Stoke like Muniesa and Bojan have, then perhaps some sort of gentlemans agreement could come off the back of it. For me, as someone who isn't keen on Barca's first team squad, it'd be like a deal with the devil, but ahh well

Is it fair to say he's better than Cleverley? Often we over-rate foreign players. Surely not in this case though? Good player?

Anyone know how long his contract has to run? I realise that even on a free, Barca would be entitled to compensation but compensation for young players moving between countries is ridiculously low - about £330k or thereabouts.

Mmmmm so we say goodbye to Palacios and get Roberto in his place to compete with Whelan and NZonzi - wow its a tough decision Hughes would have to make in allowing Palacios to leave!

I've said before, a number of times, I don't like the way they intimidate the referee. If you watch, they have quite a simple system of rotation that works quite effectively for them. After an incident, a player will approach the ref. Then the next incident, a different player will approach the ref. What you realize is, they routinely approach the ref in a way that would result in most players receiving a booking for dissent, but because they're rotating who does it, the ref either gets confused or doesn't feel it's necessary to book their players, ergo, the ref is intimidated but doesn't feel the need to book anyone as a result. It's a clever system, but it goes against all kinds of sportsmanship and that annoys me. Busquets is also a shit house and let's be honest, the amount of playing acting and what not must get up your fucking nose right?

Will they let him go? It depends on how much they believe and Samper and other I guess.
Xavi's getting less playing time and they can't sign anyone until 2016??? So there's a case for him staying until then.
