Hi folks, we will be discussing yesterday's game first, the match itself generated a few talking points. Thoughts welcome on the referee, Stephen Ireland's injury and potential red card tackle. Bruce's tactics etc etc

Not sure my thoughts on the referee or any of the officials at yesterday's game are printable or broadcast-able, to be honest, so probably best just keep them to myself.
Have we actually even had a decent referee yet this season? I would even settle for an "ok" one ! I can't really remember one.

Worst ref in the division. Totally out of his depth yesterday.

The referee was awful and his booking of Pieters was just plain wrong.Very poor 1st half but the introduction of Charlie Adam seem to give us something extra.Hull fans must feel short changed because Bruce's tactics were shocking and reminded me of Pulis's tactics a few seasons back.A good 3 points but a poor game but i'd except that most weeks to be honest.

The ref was shocking. I thought we lacked creativity yesterday till Adam came on who added more movement and space in midfield.

Many apologies. Due to the inclement weather there is currently a power-cut. We will try and resume broadcasting as soon as the power is restored

We had a power cut in this part of the City due to a storm. Apologies. We have remotely recorded the first 15 minutes we hope.

They were the same linesman that Foy would have had and for me you could tell that Swarbrick had reffed Hull on 3 previous away games prior to yesterday because he was very pally with their players.Surely having the same ref for 4 away games out of 14 can't be right?

Other than filling in the gaps at Britannia, when we were first promoted it was suggested that the Railway Lines below the Brit be used for transport to the ground, at the time the council would contribute but Stoke understandably would not contribute, now we have some money, any chance of putting this forward, would in the long term save massive traffic problems.

So to qualify for Europe, we have to finish 7th and that's it?

From seeing the Match of the Day replays, the goal is clearly offside. Not that I give a monkeys, but if it had gone against us, I'm fairly sure we'd be unhappy about it.

Kettles aside, what is the latest on Odemwingie? Any chance of any games this season? If he can't play no new contract?

Regarding the Figueroa challenge, the crowd near me in block 12/13 were up in arms about it. How the linesman didn't flag is beyond me. On second thoughts he was that useless he should never be allowed to be a linesman again. It looked pretty clear from where I was sat that it was a deliberate attempt to injure Ireland. The fact that Ireland was left crumpled on the floor. We were left in disbelief that neither the ref or the linesman gave anything.
Cheers

If the maximum attendance is 27,500, the 98% figure equates to an average Premier League attendance of 26,950, which probably sounds about right.
