About 92%. Anyone ever seen a Full Solar Eclipse? I think there was one in 1999 over the UK, but I was out of the Country at the time.

Up here on the north coast of Scotland we're expecting 97% near John O'Groats with the best on the UK mainland at Cape Wrath with 97.3 %

I saw the last one it was really eerie. I remember the last one, I was on the roof at work..and when it happened, it went darker, the birds went quite & and it went really cold within seconds...then as it became brighter it was like a new dawn again. You can't beat mother nature... TEST

Was the last one in summer? Or at least a fairly warm month?
I was playing cricket in the garden when it happened, very strange experience.
Did anyone make one of those periscope-type things to watch it through?

Yep, I watched it on the top of the great orme ......great day trip.......fly a kite with my lad on Rhyl beach, paddling pool, Conway castle, great orme for mines and the eclipse, then over the Menai bridge to Beaumaris before the journey home sounds boring but company was great sadly missed

Yes it was very eerie ....I was out in the garden looking south and there was a drop in temperature. The birds went into the roost position and the Scousers came out to steal cars thinking it was night time.

It will be a partial eclipse for us when we are in Lanzarote ....it should still be interesting though ....I'm not sure how dark it will get

I remember the one in 1999 - everything kinda went grey and shadowy, most weird.
You can understand why the Aztecs got all trancey and sacrificial...
