Just noticed that we are only 7 points behind the new media darlings and equal on points behind the other media darlings (West Ham).
Just shows what may have been if we'd only taken 4 points from those terrible Villa, Leicester and Burnley home games.

looks like their form has turned for the worst so theres a glimmer of a chance we could catch them for 7th place

Only injuries will stop us from finishing 8th. Anything higher is just a step too much I think.

More realistically, we have a genuine chance to go 8th on Wednesday.
Everton aren't looking great at the moment and it will be their 3rd game in 6 days, while elsewhere it is:
Tottenham v Swansea
West Ham v Chelsea
Not wanting to get too ahead of ourselves, but we should really be pushing for that spot.

They're not very good, and aren't set up to shut up shop which is where most not-very-good teams have done well against us.

Theres an entire show on NBC about Southampton as we speak. I might not care for them anymore.

The club we should have in our sights is Swansea - and come May, it'll be in our hands to beat them in their own back yard.
West sham will take care of themselves hopefully as a cocker knee lynch mob chase Big Sam out of the Boylan (rightly or wrongly) to the Benny Hill theme tune.
Unless there is a south coast meltdown though, not so sure we'll catch the new shexxshy football gods of Southampton?
That said, uncle Tone half hinched 3 pts off them today, so anything he can do...

If the crowd can crank it up to 1st premier league season levels, I genuinely believe 7th place is on.
We've still got to play Swansea, west ham and Southampton.
The season is well and truly alive.

well we have Saints at home. we have to win that which means we need to catch 4 points in 10 other games. So it is definitely on
