Absolutely no intention from them to come away with anything more than a point.
It's possibly hypocritical for some on here to bleat about this, but they literally offered nothing.
Not the best game, but a fully deserved three points.
Onwards and upwards, Mark Hughes' red and white army.

I'm embarrassed. Dreadful tactics and team selection. Don't deserve to stay in Premier League if that's how we're going to try and stay in it. If we go down I want us to go down fighting and trying to win games

Fair play for coming on here mate, and speaking your mind. BTW, we would have done exactly the same under Pulis.

If we go down I want us to go down fighting and trying to win games I was surprised by you. You're on decent form, I thought there'd be more about you. Not rubbing it in, by the way. We played like that dozens of times away from home under Pulis, so I know how frustrating it is

Team selection from Bruce was shocking. I had few concerns about conceding when he put out a strike partnership that have scored 2 league goals between them this season.
And as mentioned, set up like we did during the end times of Pulisball. No intention of trying to score until the game was lost, when we really could have been beaten if they'd have taken the game to us.

Hull stan, brave to come on here, let me tell you that you are the worst team to come here in the last 8 seasons, 10 men behind the ball all through and to be honest you look a bottom 3 team

I haven't seen a player as immobile as Tom Huddlestone since perhaps big Jon Parkin. Unbelievable how little he moved all game. I wonder what his job is other than just putting late tackles in and putting his weight around.

According to Steve Bruce, Hull didn't deserve to lose.
We had 58% possession and 17 shots to their 2.

5 3 1 1 with a wide man up front and 3 forwards on the bench.
Not that I'm complaining but dear me.

Livermore is one of the worst midfielders the PL has ever seen. And Huddlestone touted for England???? Jesus wept.

You'd think that Hull would have tried to push on today, after giving themselves a bit of breathing space from relegation, I was expecting them to have had a bit more about them or at least a bit more of a go. They looked like they had the urgency of a comfortably mid-table team without the quality. 1 attempt from Hull (to Stoke's 17) and that wasn't on target.
They'll stay up because there's enough crap teams beneath them. 6 teams deserve to go down this season, one of the lowest quality Premier Leagues in a while.

An affable and amiable personality only keeps you in a job for so long. We have a good squad on paper and we when we play attacking football we look good. Well done to Mark Hughes. He's got you into a position to finish even possibly 7th without spending a lot.

According to Steve Bruce, Hull didn't deserve to lose. We had 58% possession and 17 shots to their 2. The Beeb has them down for just one shot - and that was off target. Bruce would have been more correct in saying "Hull didn't deserve to win" Mind you, only two of our seventeen were on target!

Cheats
Huddlestone on the war of the ref for 90 minutes Feigning injury time wasting
Huddlestone pretending to be elbowed
And their pre rehearsed routine of surrounding the ref when Moses won a free kick.
Fuck off hull

Interesting comments. Last season I thought Hull looked a decent, well drilled side and I thought the same after our visit to hull earlier in the season. I was surprised you've struggled as you have but today was pathetic from your side and I'd be furious if I was a Hull fan. I despised the negativity of Tony pulis but I'm not sure even we were ever that negative. Mcshane ahead of Davies? What's all that about?

They've got a horrible run in of games to the end of the season:
H Sunderland A Leicester H Chelsea A Swansea A Southampton H Liverpool A Palace H Arsenal H Burnley A Spurs H Man Utd
7 games against top half clubs. Ouch.

They weren't overly negative to begin with,in fact they were the better team for the 1st 20 minutes. Once we got a foot hold into the game however there was only ever going to be 1 winner. It would have been a travesty if we hadn't have won. 2nd half was completely one way traffic until the last 5 minutes.
They'll survive by a narrow margin I reckon

Can't believe these comments,we played like this away from home under Dulis for years with absolutely no intention of gaining three points. The abuse we received from opposing supporters was cringeworthy yet we are now doing the same.Pull your heads out of your arse.

They'll scrape by. Jelavic will get them 6 points by May. Add 2 or 3 0-0s to that.
35 points = survival this season.
