We should be looking for 30k minimum. Anything less than 35k is small time for the Prem Imo. We won't fill that now, but it's something to aim for. To be honest I don't see why we don't prepare in advance. It is mate but at the moment that is what we are, 30k or there about is our limit atm. Planning ahead though 35k would be sensible option.

Big Screen Corner £3.8 million at the times plans were submitted and it will hold 1,800 seats. I would put away fans in there . Get them away from the tunnel give that whole end to Stoke fans I doubt they would put the away fans next to the family area.

It happens every season for cup games and would get away fans from the tunnel and giving the players grief when they come out. Watch the Arsenil fans when Ryan comes out - scummy lot.

Just fill the corners in and put concrete base in ready for seats/standing and sell it as advertising space and a decent big screen. I don't care about increasing the capacity, just improve the stadium! What's happening to the money from the PL? The longer building work is left undone, the more expensive it gets.

Do the whole lot I reckon. Improvement and expansion.

Just been listening to Radio Stoke interviewing Tony Scholes. He says approximately 1500 more season tickets sales and they'll seriously consider filling the South/East corner in. "seriously consider" !!! You gotta love this guy Great with the price freeze, but come on, there's bigger fish to fry here

I'd stick another tier on the Novus Stand as well and extend the family stand up there. Grow for the future. Yep---id dig down and lower the pitch as well to make a new tier, should be an easier move for these new Barcelona kiddies, home from home like

Don't understand the small time thinking. Scholes is just sitting in his comfort zone. We have a massive opportunity to put the club on a different scale altogether due to the finances involved and we are pissing about having discussions about 1500 season tickets . We need somebody in charge with proper vision and a head for simple maths. Price it properly , extend the ground, fill the seats and create a legacy for the future. It ain't rocket science. I haven't got a season ticket this season, it makes supporting Stoke a nightmare, been to over 70 away grounds supporting Stoke through thin and thin. We are at a point I never thought I would live to see and the frustration with the lack of ambition does my head in. NOW OR NEVER

Just do it! It will transform the ground and also make it even more appealing to potential new players. More supporters at the ground will generate more income as well, not only by selling more tickets but also by selling more merchandise.

Do it now and sell the tickets once it's done. There's no guarantee that they'd be used though, the fans have to commit first. The fans are committing now though. The fact the club are trying to entice single seat Season Ticket holders with extra cheap deals is telling even the thickest of the thick that you are running out of seats. I dread to think the number of fans we are turning away because there are not many seats together. If we built the corner, put another tier on the Novus and dropped walk up prices to 25 quid we'd sell out. Simple. Get it done.

I couldn’t believe this when I was told.
Like many the other half has a member card with the club, she hasn’t used it in a while. Probably 12 months or so. Either way she received an email the other day saying something along the lines of. “You haven’t used your card in XYZ amount of time. Please send us your details again to renew your account, otherwise it will be cancelled”
Now I’m no marketing genius, but I have a few questions.
1) Given after what good ol’ TS has had to say recently about getting 1500 new tickets and filling the corner in. Why oh why would you threaten to cancel accounts of supporters if they aren’t used? Surely they should instead show them how good it would be to get a season ticket given the recent price freeze?
2) If this is somehow related to the company running the points system because they don’t want “stagnant” accounts, I’ve heard of data cleansing but this just takes the piss quite frankly. Its unnecessary and sends out the completely wrong message. The club should know about and stop these kinds of messages getting out.
3) This is just another in a long line of what appear to be mistakes from the club. Failing to improve the general message coming out from the club
Not building the corner and making big song and dance about it is just another mistake. Like others have said we need room to grown and a marketing department that know what their doing. At present we have neither

Last year tried to get a season ticket for my daughter ( 12yr old)but initially could not get anything decent anywhere near where I was block 22 rear - all were very near the front ( guaranteed a soaking a couple of times a season not to mention THAT hail storm) not where I would want to be with a12 year old girl to sell her the 'atmosphere ' . I initially did not buy her one as didn't fancy the family stand for lack of atmosphere or the stoke stand due to proximity to away fans/ atmosphere etc. eventually after the price rise I managed to get two 1/2 decent seats together 12rows back & she LOVES it sold for life ! However I cannot help but think if these hadn't become available this would have been a sale missed = no sale = no life long supporter. I cannot be the only one this has happened to . FILL IN THE CORNERS FFS

Anyone would think getting this bleeding corner filled in is going to be like Stoke winning the Champions League.
I have a feeling it may well be an anti-climax.

The people running the club are somehow SCARED of progressing and I think that goes for some supporters.
We're established in the PL, have a good fan base, have an excellent management team and a good side. Filling one corner is a complete no brainer.

Wow the club have got this spectacularly wrong in so many ways. Its a decision based on simple black and white profit and loss. Surely we have someone in the club who can see the bigger picture here.Improving the ground and making more tickets available is the way to generate 1500 more season tickets. Others have correctly pointed out that if a group of 4 want tickets together they have little or no chance and they probably won't bother going.
