I normally drive and park near the ground, but tomorrow I'm getting dropped off by the Mrs. We're going to be pressed for time as the youngest has a swimming lesson then need to drive up from Hampshire.
Where's the best place (closest to the ground, without getting caught in traffic) to get dropped off please (will need to do a quick switch of drivers)?
Coming up the A500 from the south.

Thanks!
At the Harvester - won't we get stuck in traffic going to do the turn around on the A50?
At the incinerator - is that on the A50/A500 roundabout?

Yeh it's ok getting dropped by the harvester but people stopping around there just totally block the traffic flow and it backs up along the A50. Get dropped at Heron cross and walk down then get picked up there later

incineratorTake the slip road off the A500 to the A5006. Turn left to Michelin roundabout, then back along the A5006, over the A500, to the next roundabout and drop off there.

Thanks all! In my 100's of visits to the Brit this is the first time I've been dropped off.

Just as another option, get dropped off at the end of Highfield Drive (top) or Hollybush Road (bottom) in Blurton. Then it's a two minute walk. If you're running really late take the Highfield option & it's all nice & paved. If you've got a bit of time to spare take the Hollybush option, nip through the trees & halfway down the cricket pitch to the gate, then nip in the cricket club for a pint.

Use the club car park. Only a fiver, which is a quid for each hour you get stuck waiting after the game.

Ta What car will you be in? What will be your average speed and petrol consumption? Are there roadworks on any stretches of road you'll be travelling on? Have you factored in a 'rest' break and, will you be packing a flask and sandwiches? I wish you the best of luck
