To be fair, I don't think Chelsea could complain about getting £7m plus a sell-on clause for a player I doubt would get a minute for them.

Why would Chelsea sell him, unless they get an offer way above their valuation (whatever that is), this summer? They paid £9m for him. Stoke paid £2m (?) just to loan him. Presumably Livepool paid similar last season. Next season they can loan him out again & get another £2m. He is uner contract till 2017,his value isn't going to go down till Jan 2017 window probably (if it does at all). Unlike transfer fees presumably players don't get a cut of loan fees (?). Easy money for Chelsea: keep loaning him out. The other scenario is he might imorove enough to warrant a place in their team or on their bench on a regular basis.

He has no (probably) future as a player there, agreed. He has a future for Chelsea as a nice little earner though. £2m loan fee again next season then sell him summer 2016 for £7m (or more if he impresses on loan) or just take £7m now If I was Chelsea I would sign as many players as possible & loan lots of them out. Oh look they do exactly that!

Can we add "definitely maybe probably not" to the thread title please?

Can we add "definitely maybe probably not" to the thread title please? Important apostrophe in that thread title bayern. It reads "Moses' signing", as in "the [potential] signing of Moses, a discussion thereof". It is not a newspaper-headline-style "Moses signing" as in "Moses is signing [definitely maybe probably not or otherwise]" Know your apostrophes.

Its still there to be missed and give hope to idiots..............like myself. I've thought he's signed at least 3 times today every time I've looked on the board.

This would be an awesome acquisition.
Maybe Chelsea have their eyes on someone and offloading Moses frees up some of the FFP cash.

link"Victor is still a Chelsea player," said Hughes.
"We're very pleased with what he's producing. The key thing was he wanted to play.
"We have given him the opportunity and he's in a good place.
"We'd ideally love to be able to take him if we can but that won't be our decision. Things have to fall in place but if there was an opportunity to bring Victor next season we'd love to do it.
"It will be discussed at the end of the season - we will see how far it can go. But his profile is being raised so it is a two-edged sword.
"A loan could be a compromise. The key would be to try and find a way to keep him here next season.
"His parent club will have a huge say in that. Victor is very happy."
"He will have to look at where if he did go back to Chelsea where that would leave him.
"Would he get the opportunity his talents deserve? We like to think we would be a consideration for him almost certainly."

That's hilarious. Wonder if he managed to get a comment from Tony Waddington about the potential signing.
