I'm serious, we should. We could meet up at JFK, or even in London. Get a bunch of us Yanks to head over, hook up with our board brothers..... we almost have to do it, if you really think about it. If it does get off the ground, so to speak, make sure you contact the club first. Any games over xmas will be most likely a sell out; so, the club will need to reserve you tickets early on - they would, I expect, love (& milk)a group of foreign supporters coming over & you can make sure you get seats together. The fixtures come out in June (I think), so you could maybe get a London match & see the sights & then a Stoke home game & then really see some sights! Actually, I'm talking bollocks - just found this on the club site - tickets can be reserved & there are contacts in USA already - Baltimore, Dallas, San Diego, San Francisco: Stoke City supporters living abroad will have access to away match tickets by purchasing through the official Supporters Branch in their country. 3% of the total ticket allocation for every away game will be made available for overseas Supporters Branches. Supporters Branches will collate a list of names & contact details and pass them on to the Club's Ticket Office, at least six weeks before the fixture. This allows the Ticket Office to release any tickets not allocated to overseas fans back for priority and general sale. The Ticket Office will contact the overseas supporters to process match tickets and coach tickets (if required). If any requests come into the Ticket Office via an overseas Supporters Branch after the six-week deadline, there will be no guarantee of tickets. All requests from Stoke City fans living abroad that are not made through an official Supporters Branch can only be dealt with when tickets go on general sale. Read more at www.stokecityfc.com/tickets/overseas/index.aspx#lVC0KobyBhzHK4vh.99Also, I know there's a group of Norwegian fans who come over every year - maybe contact them for advise - what to do & what not to do etc and, see you in 2016 ...........................

I tried starting one a few years ago but we didn't have the American base we do now. There was a NY area supporters club but I don't know if it's still up and running. It'd be much easier now with all these newcomers to have a few regional meet ups and then one US supporters club to come over I've brought a few handfuls of converts over now and again but to get a large group would be excellent! Count me in!

Ok lads I am on it, I'll get all the requirements to stand up a Notrth American Supporters Club as long as our Canadian Stokiies are good with it, otherwise we will be an American (USA) organization. Once I have all of the info I'll let you know the next steps.

I assume PU stands for piss up? Correct. IB = Internet Board (I think) When Stoke made the play offs we had a Belgian player (Jeurgen van Deurzen) who organised tickets for about 20 fellow countrymen (via me) to attend the Millenium Stadium...maybe Mr Cameron can sort you some tickets! Hope you mae it over soon LP

Going with my old mate David and taking my middle son to his first match! First away game for David and me in 40+ years. Took our youngest son to his first game against Manure - big high 5s when Ryan scored.

Yes, let's have an IBPU...what's an IBPU? Internet Board Piss Up There's been a few over the years but they seemed to tail off once the civil war started. The main venue was O'Leary's - London Road, Stoke, the poster Tel2U off of here got the landlord to put on some food a couple of times, they were good nights, unfortunately I missed a few due to work and living 200 miles away at the time.

Yes, I went to a few IBPUs in O'Leary's in the old days. Before the drive back to Plymouth (where I lived then) I used to stay the night at Old Stokie's and have one of his (in)famous marmalade sandwich breakfasts - happy days!

You have a growing Stoke fan base in Chicago!!! My 9-yr-old son and the '14 World Cup got me hooked, and my son and I quickly went for Stoke. They have an insanely fun/loyal fan base, had a lot of Americans under contract (and Cameron playing!) and our family name came from Stoke (way back when). I've now hooked a few coworkers and we all follow Stoke (even got a guy to dump the Spurs!). I call us Chicago SCFC (there are about 5 of us). I'd love to hear more about an American Potters Club! A friend and I (along with my boy) have even talked about even making it to the Brit some day... some day. If there are other Potters in Chicago, or anywhere else in the US, is love to hear from you!

was hoping someone would say that! The main reason we conceded 4 yesterday was because the defenders backed off and gave Citeh too much space - especially down the wings. Marsh and Pejic never backed off. Shawcross and Huth or Wolfie compare well with Smith and Bloor, but any combination of Wilson, Cameron, Bardsley, Pieters, Muniesa, Teixeira you like are no where as good as Pejic and Marsh. We definitely need to strengthen in both those positions. BTW I made a mistake the sub was John Mahoney Got slagged off big time for suggesting we need strengthen at both FB positions. Also, was sarcastically called an "expert". Don't claim to be an expert, just someone who was fortunate to be old enough to have experienced good times like this before. Although we played great yesterday, I am still of the same opinion about the FBs - but not a top priority at LB.
