Just noticed the table on MOTD and realised that the you have to go up to 14th before there's a team averaging a point a game, indeed if the bottom three continue with their points per game average, then none of them will make it to 32 points.
For what it's worth, like.

32 points is our best total at this stage of the season since we were promoted.
A great effort, especially considering the injury problems we've had.
50 points at least and a top ten place should be achievable and with the luck of the draw a couple of trips to Wembley might be possible.
Plenty to look forward to.

Hughes really is doing a remarkable job.
Tone was a perfect fit for the period he was here and it seems that Mark Hughes is equally as perfect for us and what we want to achieve now.
Exciting times currently and in the future with him in charge.

A lot depends on whether we can get a couple of loans in before Tuesday .
If not were taking a huge gamble on players fitness. The way it's going at the moment if we don't add to the squad we could end up playing with Adam on the wing and we can say goodbye to 50 points and Wembley.,
This season with the luck we've had At this point Hughes has eclipsed last season.

We need to be careful in the summer. We must back him. He's proven himself now with limited funds and deserves a war chest to see where he can take us.
I honestly don't think he'd disappoint.
Either way we must stop his head being turned and prove this is a damn good club and ambitious club to be at.

it,s about time coates and co gave the go ahead for a genuine rock the city signing to show that we are no longer also runners and that we mean business.Hughes has earnt the right to be trusted to go into the market and make a quality signing with a decent outlay!

Couldn't agree more! This penny pinching is getting annoying. Not just the squad but the corner too! Surely, the CW Academy capital expenditure is nearly finished now?

Completely safe. No doubt. We need to focus on trying to win the cup so we can have something to show for this successful time for the club

The way I always view the table is - 5 games above relegation It would be extremely good if we could reduce the deficit to the teams in 5th and 6th place

Mark Hughes has done a remarkable job having spent so little
Peter Coates deserves the key to the City for his backing of the club
However
This league is savage. We do have a squad that is 'ageing' compared to others and there is no room for complacency. In the short term, If we don't add a face or two in this window then I fear that short term we will fail to achieve what could well be a remarkable second top 10 finish and potentially FA Cup success.
Long term all this talk of a self sustaining financial model is hugely questionable. I would like to see the Coates family utilise their reputation and influence to bring in additional financial backing if they either can't or won't spend the money to develop the squad (and the stadium). This is even more important given that PC is getting on in years and their are questions around how much interstate the Coates family really have when he is no longer around.
We short enjoy and celebrate the here and now but need a stronger, clearer strategy as to how we evolve as a football club that ensures that we never go back to the dark days of lower league football.
