Correct. The best we've had after 23 games is 30 points.
It'll be mightily disappointing if we don't better 50 points this season.
I think we'll do it, but we'd have pissed it with a fit Bojan and PO.

Hopefully we can close the gap on west ham with a win next week. Sham that a few seem to have over performed this year.

Arnie was beating Hill easily, so he puts Walters out there who is meat and drink to someone like Hill out there. Walters was giving Dunne a torrid time, so he moves him to the right and replaces him with an immobile striker after it's been the movement that's been causing their centre halves all sorts of problems. They were awful subs that nearly cost us 2 points.

Sparky was right to hook him. The Bald Bojan was tiring due to lack of match fitness. Again, a good change by the manager. Crouchy did okay when he came on and SJW completed his hat-trick from a right wing position. A good day all round.

His crossing was fine.....I can live with winning corners, which is what he was doing. Taking him off took the pressure off Hill, Walters didn't trouble him one bit. Arnie had him for breakfast. Ireland was tiring but Adam came on and waddled around like a man who had just eaten 3 Sunday dinners, keeping Ireland on would have been better or if he was injured either shut up shop and bring Cameron/Sidwell on and push Fonz forward or bring Diouf or Crouch on and play Walters behind the striker. Adam is fast becoming an irrelevance. Walters completed his hat-trick after 'Arry made a strange sub himself. The left back he bought on was outpaced by Crouchy and outmuscled by Walters. God knows what 'Arry was doing. The subs were shocking.

Always get nervous with these type of threads tbh. Yes last season's finish was very good to take us past the 50 points. But contrast that with the season before under TP. After 19 games we were on 28 points having just put phlegm garglers to the sword on Boxing Day and looking strong for a top ten finish. We crawled over the 40 point mark winning just three of the last 19 games. Luckily 37 points was the safety net that season. Based on that don't consider us safe yet because there will always be a couple of relegation threatened clubs who come good and put a run together in the las few games. IMO we still need another 8 points which, on current form, we should achieve easily.
