we would have to beat one of the 'big boys' 10 - 0 to get on 1st. then all they would talk about was how bad the other team were.

A draw in the "headline" game and routine victories for the more fancied teams in all the other games.

Absolutely unbelievable that Lampard was booed onto the pitch by chelsea morons and imbilciles. That great player graced almost 650 games for chelsea scoring over 200 goals. It was chelsea that released him last season not Lampard's desire to leave. Plastic idiots the lot of them.

I think you can blame Mourinho for that one after his comments in their last meeting, pathetic comments from a man with no class. Lampard should never be booed by Chelsea, it was seemingly the minority but still shocking, I hope he speaks about it in an interview and puts Mourinho in his place.

Wasn't his decision to go. He served the club well, with dignity and loyalty. Shame some of their fans seem unable to see that.

Soon after, it may have even been the next home match, we played guess who. Jimmy wasn't in their squad for some reason (?), and we spotted him in the directors box. We knew he hadn't wanted to go, and sang his name for one last time, seemed like the whole ground joined in. It was very moving, still feels raw even now.

Anyway back to MOTD, who the fuck edits it? didn't show Bardsleys free kick in the second half that half the Boothen thought was in and Crouch's dribble and cross for what would have been Walters 3rd goal, from my vantage view it looked like all the ball hadn't crossed the line but the linesman still blew and disallowed the goal. Gouranga.
