It's his groin/ hip . Looks like Huth ain't going Leicester Why? We have Muni for centre half, Wilson when Pieters is back in a week or so. Why would it have any effect? Plus he's out for 2 games, in which he could recover.

Hope its not to bad. But the way our seasons going with injuries it may be a good idea to hang on to Huthie, or at least to have a recall in the deal with Leicester.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't his back anyway, physio was testing leg resistance, may not have been his knee but it looked like it from where I'm sat. Happy to be corrected though.

We'll need a pretty good physios opinion on Monday if we let Huth go then. a choice of 2 from Wolly, Muniesa and the Wilson doesn't exactly fill me with joy. Doesn't the championship loan window close for 1 week or something, andvif we can have a recall clause, that sounds sensible

Looked like his back (or possibly his hip)to me. The physio was pushing his leg up to try and adjust it slightly. From what i can see he did it a few seconds before QPR scored. He made a tackle and as he went down was holding the right side of his back. That was part of the reason they had so much space in box as he didn't get up quickly because he was obviously in pain.

Really SAD this! Maybe we could borrow Steve Gohouri from FC Rot-Weiss Erfurt (former Wigan/Côte d'Ivoire defender)? He's keen for a return to the Prem League, according to sources.

Plus he's out for 2 games, in which he could recover. Our defence needs a defensive leeder/ organiser at all times playing... Our performance dramatically dropped when shawcross went off , as there was no organization or leadership at the back.. Huth brings leadership if we can get him fit . Do you think we should let Huth go without knowing the extent of shawcross' injury ?

I think I prefer defenders that can defend, instead of just leaders. I don't think we'll do that, no. But similarly I don't think we'll rush into throwing an unfit and ageing defender into the side as a precaution.

We do seem to be getting too many muscle/ligament type injuries this season.

"a locked back and a sore groin" that's quite a combo, I picked up an injury like that once shagging a big bird

"It was more his back today that locked up on him. We hoped we could get to half-time and sort him out - but it was quite clear he was really struggling and we couldn't take the risk as they'd just scored and were in a little bit of the ascendancy so we had to make a decision. Hopefully he'll be fine and we'll be able to settle him down and he'll be okay"
