Seems ridiculous but looks like that's what they signed up for when they took out a season ticket so they know the rules. But £50 for a tickets mad for a cup replay.

Think about it - £50 to watch a football match (plus parking / transport / programme / drink / pie), absolute madness

It's a glory hunting tax, if you want to class yourself as a Man Utd support you have to pay at every opportunity.
Seems rather win-win for Man Utd, if they season ticket holder doesn't go - they've still got their season ticket money but can sell their seat for 2 games and generate extra money. I imagine they want every FA cup away game drawn so they can generate more cash (since they also know it'll be televised).

The arrogance of some club management/owners beggars belief. I would only support a team that wants and respects my support. I hope ManU fans realise their stupidity in following such a greedy organization and give their support to their local/"home" team who need their support.

I find it quite sad that people on here want to side with a massive corporation that's quite blatantly shitting on ordinary folk like themselves.
This is a story about football fans, with ordinary jobs and ordinary incomes, who are getting ripped off by billionaires. I don't care which club the situation applies to- that is fucking wank.

Whilst I agree to a point they still knew what they were signing up to. They don't moan when they have to get tickets when they are playing Barca or Liverpool. They buy into the shit then they can't moan when they get shit on.

When you look at how Manure have a massive match day revenue, compared to us, these are the reasons why.

If Stoke did the same to us then yeah, we've got a choice whether we sign up to it or not, but what kind of choice is it? If Coatesy announced that anyone who wants to go to our next home match has to have a red hot poker inserted up their anus as soon as they go through the turnstile, would that be OK? Of course not- it's basically a bunch of capitalist pigs using underhand methods to force ordinary people to shell out more money.

Again I agree, but while you have people signing up to these bullshit schemes they are going to use them. It's the same with ticket prices etc. People will still pay as I have myself. You are fucked if you do or miss out on something you love if you don't. These issues need a massive boycott but unfortunately that will never happen.

In this one case I think it's fantastic. Cambridge are entitled to 40% of gate receipts? I read they would get 1.6 million from this game, which is equal to a year's attendance of revenue for them. So pay up you fucking glory hunting bastards! OS.

I remember when we had cup tickets included in the season ticket book. I also remember the argument that occurred when the club said they counted in the Simod Cup (I think it was). Stoke made the decision not to include cup tickets after that which is much fairer.
