yes they cant do the Op until the swelling has gone down so will probably be in a couple of weeks. Then walking on crutches for about a month and generally resting. Then the rehab work starts. The problem is that all other muscles get weaker during that time so you need to build them back up slowly. Plus if a new tendon is attached it can affect your whole balance and you almost need to re-learn how to walk in a straight line. The quality of the rehab work is massively important. I think thats why Odemwimgie could be coming back earlier than planned. I can definitely see Bojan back for the start of next season at close to 100% Strange thing the human body, you know they say make sure you have some decent muscle to support your joints? Well if you check this out you can see the wonder-waif is not lacking that department And yet a rupture occurred on contact with nothing more than grass and earth, I guess it has everything to do with angles and catastrophe theory in the end Actually, super fit people suffer more ligament damage than most because they have such strong muscles, when the rest of the body hasn't increased in it's capacity to handle the higher stresses, through fitness training, other than tendons, which lose their elasticity over time, so coupled with strong muscles, increases the chance of injury. Bojan probably over extended his ligaments during the game and it just finally snapped. It probably had little to do with that last step. His knee will never be the same though. It will tighten up a lot, have a lot of pain and could go again. He will probably have an allograft, so one of you Bojan gushers can donate your ACL and literally be a part of Bojan. You will probably have to die first though, or at least have your leg amputated above the knee, but it is for a good cause!

I don't mean sound harsh but if after 10 mins against we go 2-0 up, it'll feel much less of a problem
The overwhelming feeling I get is people think we are a one man team we are not
We pushed united all the way without him don't forget...

I like this The psychological effect on Bojan will also need careful management and I have confidence that the club will give him all the support that they can both here and back in Spain. He's 2 days nearer to his return since the injury as we speak , he is nearly 3 days since his injury Stoke will be ok, maybe a slight struggle, but look forward to seeing the little fellow in October, and I can't wait, what a star he his. take care Mr Hudson....sorry Bojan
