I'd rather Berbatov in the deeper role than Forlan tbh

So not only do I have to deal with not seeing Bojan for 6 months, I have to deal with the fact that his short term replacement could be fucking Diego fucking Forlan? Are you taking the piss Stoke? We go from trying to sign Xherdan Shaqiri to a fucking 97 year old Diego Forlan, who as RAF says, was a clattering abortion in the Premier League even when he wasn't a pensioner. This had better be bollocks, the amount of players in world football I refuse to believe anyone at Stoke City would even considering sanctioning a move for this fossil. Like replacing a Lamborghini with a fucking Hillman Imp. Now I'm even more pissed off than I was yesterday. Dunnawerrittmate, it is a load of horse shit.

He hardly pulled up any trees when he was last in the Prem, and that was surrounded by the likes of Keane, Ronaldo, Scholes and Van Nistlehorse and he was 13 years younger and a lot fitter. Car Crash signing for me. H He was a top player back then. You could see he was class in the way he played, the effort he put in and the quality of the goals he did score. His problem was he just didn't score enough and it seemed like the United system didn't suit him. It proved to be the case, because when he left United, he was stellar. There are certain players like him, Berbatov, Le Tissier ... that are absolute class in the right system and donkeys in the wrong one. A good player can play in any system, but a great player is one they build teams around. Forlan joined a great United team and he wasn't a fit for it. That didn't make him a bad player.

Yes! He ran the World Cup a few years back, he was immense,so much ability, good fit for us, in that role which is to be fair a bit of a free role I'd love this to happen
