badgers eat worms, no worms, no badgers But Northy, surely the higher levels of moisture within the ground would encourage slugs and snails which would, in turn, provide a varied and nutritious diet for the Badgers ? Nope, the slugs and snails need places to hide in away from predators and the sun, an open pitch is the worst place for them, it would be carnage out there in the open for them, a bit like fatties around a free buffet

There's a massive wooded hill by Clayton Wood (hence the name) and they could tunnel under the fence.

It's transfer deadline day soon.
Maybe someone attending the next ' Sky Sports Pizza Party' at Clayton Wood on Monday could organise some sort of badger watch throughout the evening ?
A slug / snail count per square meter wouldn't go amiss either as I'm not convinced by Northy's argument.
