Neither Adam, nor Ireland can do Bojan's job the way he does, so I was thinking of someone we could pick up for less than 20 million that might be able to do half a Bojan job... only this man sprung to mind. Would we consider a move for him?

well past his sell by date Agreed, but he's a proven Premiership player and as a short term signing, would he be able to do a job? He's not a long term solution, but my argument would be that's Bojan... so, sign till the end of the season?

Was a proven premiership player from what ive seen of him on BT sport he cant even do it in his own league now.

Different type of player but go all out and get Dembele from Spurs.

Honestly don't think we'll sign anyone to replace him. We'll use Ireland and Walters.

Adel Taarabt is available for £3 million. Hit good form whilst he was playing for Hughes... He's an outstanding player," Hughes said. "In terms of ability alone he is arguably one of the best players I have played or worked with.
"Obviously that is not the whole package. There are still parts of his game that he has to work on and he understands that.
"He is working exceptionally hard for the team, which in the past has been a criticism of him. That's not the case now.
"He is in a really good place now in terms of his attitude to his work and what he is able to produce on the pitch.
"We are really pleased with what he is showing on the pitch."
He has a good relationship with Bowen too by all accounts

But Ireland has played in Bojan's position all his career. He might not be as good as Bojan but he's definitely proven he is Premiership standard.
I think we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves here

Isn't the young lad Lionel Messi being billed as "The next Bojan" ?

Same budget as he was? In which case, we're cream crackered.
That said, and even if there's a cry of "break out the chequebook" from the top floor, £15 - 20m might still mean we might not nail it - especially with just 6(?) days of this window to go.
Not good.
We have to hope Ireland hits form and quick.

I think we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves here Spot on. If Bojan is out for the season it's a massive loss, no doubt about it, but Stephen Ireland is a damn good footballer who slots seamlessly into the 4231. He's started 3 league games this season (due to injuries and Bojan being Bojan) and one was on the right side of midfield, but he seems to have been completely wrote off by some. He was excellent in the second half of last season and IMO was a major factor in our superb finish to the season. If we hadn't have signed Bojan, then the thought of Ireland, Arnie, N'Zonzi and Moses in the same side would have been more than alright with me. It still is in fact, just tainted by the fact that the little Spaniard has had to get injured for it to happen. Ireland won't be as good as Bojan has been playing there, but I'd be amazed if there is anyone we could realistically sign in the next week who will be. Shit happens in football. Thankfully we've stocked up on some half decent footballers to cushion the blow slightly when it does.

Give Ireland a run in the team. He's no Bojan but if he stays fit he's a very intelligent player in that advanced role.

If Bojan's out for the season we won't be playing Europe next year. Noone can be brought in to match him, since he's the greatest player in the world. Big blow!

at least if Bojan is injured (having to stretch to look for the silver lining here.....) we'll definitely hold onto him for next season now

Adnan Januzaj is available on loan (though cup tied) Ravel Morrison is available on a Free and apparently willing to sign a "any off field bother and you can sack me" clause.
