If it was serious, they wouldn't have let him walk off. You can walk with ruptured cruciate ligaments...is that serious enough?

From BBC: Interesting. The Stoke physio makes the 'substitution' hand signal but Bojan waves to say no, he'll be OK. Stephen Ireland is now warming up. We'll see who wins that battle.

That's why you rest your players against a League 1 team. Fucks sake. His injury had nothing to do with the level of opposition we are playing against. Oh and we're winning the game at the moment entirely because of a piece of incredible individual skill from, erm ... Bojan. The point I was making was that we didn't need to risk him getting an injury because we have other options who a more than capable of doing the job against Rochdale.

Am I right in thinking that Hoekstra obliterated his knee at Rochdale in the Autowindscreen Shield? There's a lesson to be learned there... I thought it was Halifax? I really hope the little man is ok.

Hughes can't win. Play him he gets injured and he "shouldn't of played", don't play him, we lose and "Hughes should of played Bojan that was the best chance we've had of winning a cup in a long time"

More than capable of doing a job, really? How many chances have we created then? The only reason we're in the lead is because Bojan started.

I remember Kris Commons doing his cruciate setting up the winning goal, ironically for him against Forest if I remember rightly, in one of Cotterill's final games.
He put a cross in from the by-line, it was put away but he stayed down received some treatment then walked off, all looked innocuous, didn't play again for 11 months.

Mechanism suggests ACl, physio was special testing for ACL laxity, which is a worry. He'll be heading for scans to determine the grade .

Did warn you walking means nothing. Physio clearly felt something in the tension stretch .
Best bet now is its a serious ligament injury still means we will have him next season and only need 11 points to sort this one out and who knows traore might just be the replacement game changer
