Great player for us but as someone said yesterday he's not going to be a long term part of our future.
It's a shame that this prem journey has casualties along the way

A great servant and it'll be a sad day when he leaves but with Ryan, Wolly and Muni ahead of him his prospects at Stoke look somewhat limited. Hope I'm wrong and he rediscovers his previous best...

Anywhere but that scum hole Robert. Agree, but a lower division would suit me just fine. Reduce the ppportunity for the inevitable header he'd score past us.

All great players have a shelf life at any club, and the Berlin Wall seems to have reached the end of his at Stoke. He will go with my best wishes - I hope we can get a couple of mill for him, at least!
Another big wage off the books to prepare for incomings, although that may have to wait for the summer now.

I'll cry if he's sold. Surely a loan would be better for Stoke, see if he regains his fitness and form and then reassess the situation in the summer They don't like it, HUTH 'em
