“It’s a disgrace, a sports disgrace, but it’s a disgrace,” said Mourinho. “I know in the history of the competition this happens now and again. For me it’s the first time, for Chelsea not a lot. I think it is unacceptable to lose against a team from a lower league.”
Good on you José. I wish some of those other passionless managers would be honest in their responses.

I haven't seen the team he started so I could be talking bollocks but surely it IS acceptable to lose to lower league opposition if you field a weakened team?.

Yeh but that weakened team should still ( in theory) batter Bradford, can't say I've seen the team Ethie but I will have been full of internationals

Not acceptable with Chelsea's second choice squad my friend 1 Cech 31 Christensen 5 Zouma 24 Cahill 28 Azpilicueta 7 Ramires 8 Oscar 12 Mikel (substituted for Fàbregas at 70 minutes') 17 Salah (substituted for Willian at 70 minutes') 11 Drogba 18 Remy (substituted for Hazard at 76 minutes') Chelsea Substitutes 4 Fàbregas 6 Aké 10 Hazard 13 Courtois 22 Willian 26 Terry 36 Loftus-Cheek

Reminds me of his pat on Assaidi's back when he got that winner last year. The man has integrity; it makes it hurt less when you lose against his sides.

Whatever your opinions on Chelsea are (and they are possibly my most hated football club of all time, along with Wolves) you have to admire Mourinho, the man is class.

What he is saying is with the squad he has the changes he made should have made no difference they should beat Bradford. The man may be a pain for some but he speaks the truth and I think you have to agree with him on his views at times

I bet Gary Cahill was an inspirational to those young defenders playing alongside him; turning his back on every block and bottling every challenge.
Can't be too hard on him though, those Bradford forwards are light years ahead of Ibrahimovic.
Cunt.

Not going to be popular on here judging by the amount of rimming going on but the bloke is a fucking tool and a scurge to football as a whole...
His boring defensive tactics might win him games, and it's impossible to deny that he is a successful manager, that is simply a fact. However you watch any of the top teams play Chelsea and it's so defensive and frankly painful to watch, people moan about United on here all the time... People moan about United everywhere in fact but atleast they go out and try to win every game and always favour attack over defence, give me United and Real anyday over Bayern and Chelsea

Think he is brilliant manager and character
completely agree with what someone above said that people take his antics too seriously..
Rather have more managers like him other than the over rated shit like Van Gaal, Ancelotti, Wenger etc

Today his comments were fantastic. A credit to him.
Other days though, and quite recently too, he comes out with drivel worth of our good friend at Arsenal.
The veritable Curate's Egg is José!
