It WAS 40 years ago, but even so...... Jeez, they can't wait to empty the beds nowadays .... Must be loads buried alive Tell you what, mate, unwrapping that "corpse" was one of the scariest things I've ever done in my career, as I didn't know the bloke before as he wasn't on my ward, so I didn't know what to expect. Then, ringing the night sister and saying "you know this body you asked me to take to the morgue, well, he's alive". I guess it wasn't the highlight of her career either. The porter was bricking it too. Like some bloody horror film it was, only real.
