Livid about this but not surprised. Was looking foward to an good old-fashioned day out. Now if I want to go (and knowing me I will) it requires time off work and a very late night back in Bristol. It's all done for us fans though. Great news for me as couldn't go if it had been at the weekend.Happy days. Same for me coz work most weekends, looking forward to it

Any updates on how many sold?
I'm only a Potters Forever member, so can't buy until Friday.

Only two blocks open, online at least. One is fairly full only a few seats left, the other isn't though and the blocks are only small. I counted about 750. I suppose it will fill more when it goes on general sale next week.

I thought this would sell out quickly but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Looking at sales to date, I would say that anyone who wants to go will be able to get a ticket to do so.

I would have thought that the same game on a Saturday would sell out in a few days. Monday night game. No train back to Stoke after the game. On TV. Probably why it's selling slowly. Luckily for me there is a late train back to Sheffield, but I've worked out that I won't get back to my house until after 1am on Tuesday!

Just a heads up
Watching the weather earlier it said next week is going to herald a severe cold snap that will stick around for a long spell with snow, ice and freezing temps
This match could well be in doubt if true as they have no undersoil heating

We even got shown how bad the pitch was on one occasion. The game was eventually played at Stoke and I'm sure we lost it. Typical Stoke. Apparently they've invested over 100k in their pitch so unless its a heavy frost or snow you'd think the game will be on.

Certainly was mate BBC weather quoted earlier that it will be the coldest snap for over 2 years and it's going to stick around so watch this space

Just a heads up Watching the weather earlier it said next week is going to herald a severe cold snap that will stick around for a long spell with snow, ice and freezing temps This match could well be in doubt if true as they have no undersoil heating I've just taken this off the BBC weather website, much more of the same as now for the rest of the month: - Monday 26 January—Sunday 8 February Will a new month bring any change? At the time of writing, the latest long range weather forecasting tools suggest that the seemingly endlessly repeating pattern of Atlantic low-pressure systems bringing spells of wet and windy weather, followed by brief incursions of cold air from the west or northwest will continue well into next month. Very few of the computer models that we use to forecast the weather this far ahead suggest any sign at all of any lengthy, settled spells.

That would hardly be enough to call the game off though.

Let's hope so eh Last night on the bbc it said next week will see freezing temps and 2-3 different heavy snow falls and the icy conditions will stick around I hope they've got it wrong

Makes no difference really does it. If it is postponed it's still going to be a midweek game. Plus, if it's called off we're guaranteed to be in the Fifth Round draw.

BUT........if it's postponed twice it will then be played on 5th round day which will be a Saturday and then see the clamour for tickets on here ( smiley )
