Big win, that. Held on for the points, unlike a few times this season!

Just got a little song for Martinez and all his fans on here....
"The King is in the all together but altogether..........."
Again....The most over-rated manager in football.

Fantastic scoreline for us that. I'll eat humble pie. Never thought we'd get anything there. Well done to all involved!

That's the result of the season by a mile coming after Monday and in the middle of this run of games . Great team hopefully. Cameron now restored to right back for good . Beat my 20 points. Fear too so a bit of humble pie too but it will taste sweet tonight .
Steel and flair combined well done Mr Hughes

Clean sheet as well. For those who are questioning our slice of luck with the penalty, remember this time last year? Newcastle - Martin Atkinson - 2 red cards.

Adam should go in the transfer window. Moyes will take him. Crouchy's time is up and Ireland is not repaying the faith Hughes showed in him. 3 out and 3 in. Adam is an asset to the squad, great cameo from him last Monday. We need more than 11 players and both he and Crouch have a part to play

Good win for the lads. Clean sheet a bonus, let's have more of them. Fi of not good enough so not good idea off load crouchy, not yet. Will Diof come good???
We also need to sort out how to play at home even if it means counter attacking as we do away. Most fans only see them at home so Hughes really does need a good run with no more home points lost.

Great win. Will be interesting if slp are telling the truth and we manage to sign one or two of the players we're supposed to be interested in.
I was thinking a centre back was necessary, but maybe its best to give Muniesa and Shawcross half a season with Huth and Wilson as back up.
Its finally gotten to the point where we have a lot of good players and its hard to say who we should replace. My thoughts would be now would be to go all out on a striker, and add a young left back for cover for Pieters with Muniesa now seemingly settled in at centre back.

They'll nick something in a min Some Stoke fan. I'm afraid it's the reality. I'm "some Stoke fan" and I was worried they might nick something. Thankfully, they didn't. Possibly one of the best wins of the season so far, for me, coming as it did at the absolute optimum time. Plus, whatever people may claim, going to Goodison and winning is never easy, especially when the home team have a full strength side and we are missing key players. Well done every player today. Fantastic, awesome win.

Just because I'm negative It doesn't mean I'm not a fan of stoke. If anything it makes you more of a Stoke fan. Anyhow, it's not negativity, it's realism. And it does us no harm because it keeps our feet on the ground, unlike some lesser times I could mention, but won't. Soul of discretion, me.

Well nothing wrong with the punters enjoying this win til Sunday when we square off against our old friends the Baggies. I echo this is one of our best results of the season, loved how we closed this one out and Lee Mason was imperious! He does deserve Man of the Match, most refs would have called every close decision the home team's way, but he ignored the bay's from the crowd and called his own match.
Thought the back four were immense, Bego was a little shakey but made the big saves when we needed them. Bojan, Arnie, Walters and Diouf pressed high up the pitch and made it hard for Everton to play out of the back and was key to keeping a clean sheet. I am reallyimg enjoying this over a bottle of Grants!

Huge result today. All the side rose to the occasion and delivered.
But, being a greedy sod, it should have been easier. Everton were the worst team I've watched this season and couldn't pass or shoot for toffee (HaHa) and seemed content to keep stroking the ball around till it went out or to a Stoke player. Stoke really need to sharpen their shooting; they could have had a bag full of goals today. Never mind, we won, God bless them.
