Right foot shot as well - his strong foot is his left.

Right foot shot as well - his strong foot is his left. Considering he's only scored about 4 goals in his Senior career I'd say that neither are exactly lethal. H

Take that Quitter, and we're 13th FFS. We could definitely do with beating West Brazil ourselves next Sunday...

How do you know, have you ever seen him play in a Stoke shirt?

After a very poor start to his loan he's now producing some good performances for Crewe in the heart of the midfield. He scored a lovely goal today and was my man of the match, he's definitely found his position right in the centre where he's got time to spray the ball around, I think he's Hughes type of player. . I've given him a lot of stick on here but fair play to the lad

It hasnt worked out since he came here but Ness was definitely considered a genuine prospect north of the border (and yes the standard 'aint great but that doesnt stop them knowing a decent player when they see one). He was also regarded as an injury waiting to happen ... and that has certainly been proved true.

Gillette Soccer Saturday team commented on the goal - great shot apparently
He's young, hopefully we can watch him develop in the lower leagues as a loanee

More chance of him becoming an ifbb pro than starting a game for stoke.

Hackett, Did you make your way down to Gresty Road today and if so how was the atmosphere? Yeah I go most home games, the atmosphere is usually poor to be fair. They've got a couple of good loan forwards in lately (Ikpeazu and Adoje) plus they've signed Dalle Valle so should pull away from the drop zone. Their keeper Ben Garrett is definitely one for the future and one we should be looking at signing before he becomes hot property.

Don't think we will ever see Ness play for Stoke again. The odd good performance in the third tier is a different proposition than cutting it in the Prem. I think he'll probably end up back in Scotland, or in League 1 or Championship at best. That said, it would be nice for him to prove me wrong. Over to you, Mr Ness.

They had a Sentinel piece on him in the week saying he wanted to fight for his Stoke career, that Hughes likes his style of football and that's motivating him. Fair play for keeping his head up, I do hope by some miracle he finds his way into our squad.
