no doubt those two cunts wont feel a thing but for the ordinary folk they are being hit hard. obscene that two people can have so much wealth between them whilst the rest suffer. there is somat wrong somewhere. having said that i am currently in thailand and the russians are the most arrogant ignorant people around so i find it hard to muster any sympathy in fact i hope the rouble keeps going down.

In the olden days Russia wouldn't have had this problem. I remember being in Moscow before the USSR collapsed & being told the night before we left that we couldn't exchange Roubles for pounds (closed economy) so we would have to spend any roubles we had left in Moscow. The only thing you could buy was Vodka, nothing else in the shops. Needless to say, I had a hangover that lasted for about 3 weeks and blurred vision for a fortnight :-(

Their money will be in Swiss banks. And in Swiss francs, US dollars and other safe currencies. Their fortunes won't be in Putin's (t)roubles!

I thought the US sanctions after the invasion of Ukraine meant Russian businessmen and women couldn't work with banks in US $. Still, I'm sure the Swiss would have gladly taken their money.

Most of their dosh would have been parked there before the sanctions? that wouldn't matter, because once the sanctions are in place the assets would be frozen; but after looking into it Chelsea's owner, and his business interests, seem to have avoided any sanctions altogether.

If the assets are in Swiss accounts under other names e.g. relatives, friends, associates aren't they different to trace?

OpenIng a bank account offshore is a fucking pain in the arse with all the shit that is required, so opening one in a relatives name is highly unlikely...

So, hiding all my billions from the the DWP is all in vain? I can see my income support taking a hammering
