.......Combatants of an enemy force bring accusations of mis-treatment by our armed forces, through our courts, using our legal aid system and costing our tax payers £30m+. WTF. This is so wrong. Anybody else find this mind boggling

Its called insanity. Why should terrorists or organisations attached to it be afforded the protection of the Geneva convention.

The thing that I find mind boggling is those people who turn a blind eye to the thousands of pending court cases and legal proceedings involving asylum applications that are refused or those fighting deportation. The cost of all this is hundreds of millions of pounds.
This country is awash with ideological idiots and wasters . The country is fucked and has been for the last 15 years . Crap.

Wasn't it Blair who signed us up to the ECoHR and, with his dear wife Cherie being a QC specialising in Human Rights, it became another gravy train to get their snouts into. And of course subsequent politicians unable or unwilling to do anything to stop it. So here we are.....asylum seekers as mumf describes, enemy soldiers and probably many more bleeding this country of its taxes and lining the pockets of HR specialist lawyers.

Its called cultural marxism. Its about destroying traditional ways of going about things by destroying it from within. Using the public sector to install its acolytes which then set about promoting all the shit thats going on. This also includes removing all instances of common sense and replacing it with disruptive behaviour. This is the shit that this common purpose indoctrinates with. It recieves our money as a registered charity but hides behind the chatham house rules as to its activities and aims.

And at the end of it all, the main accusations of murder were withdrawn ages ago, and the accusations of torture were found to be deliberate lies.

I would say it was in Britain's interest to fund an inquiry that has got to the bottom of some very, very serious allegations, especially when those allegations could undermine the work the soldiers did when they were out there.
It's a burden of war that the invaders should shoulder the responsibility of proving their intentions, if accused of anything untoward.

It's a burden of war that the invaders should shoulder the responsibility of proving their intentions, if accused of anything untoward. Apparently that happened but two law firms decided to keep it going and they are now being investigated. If they cant accept an earlier ruling, then they should fund any further proceeds out of their own pockets and not rob the likes of me and you to line their own dirty pockets.
