I was there! Steino - there's only three Steino's - Brian, Ed (I think he was their coach) and TGO himself.
.. and Stigger's hatrick goal included a little flick from behind him before burying it. Boo boys were given a night off.

Me, I seem to remember the Barnet keeper being a fat bastard that had some good banter with the Boothen

I was there, I seem to remember it was the first hat-trick a Stoke player had scored in ages! I wasn't in the bath though.

That was one hell of a hat-trick. One was almost Le Tissier esque as he flicked the ball into his path before firing home.

yeah I was there. First hat trick since Carl Saunders V sheff Utd. Mad how neither Bertie or Steino ever bagged a treble.

However it went it was brilliant! Kind of yeah. He burst through and was slightly ahead of the ball so flicked it round and finished well. Stigger was a good player for us but often not given credit as it was felt he kept Beest out of the team and was supposedly Lou's snitch in the camp.

You bastard! You made me click on a link to the Sentinel website. I'm on one of our older laptops and it just can't cope with all the crap on there. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I was there - what was the date of the game/against who and I'll see if I can upload the video if anyone's interested?

Didn't Foghorn get his first goal for us in that game as well?

It was a cracking side back then. For all the millions spent on wingers now, the delivery of Rooster and Gleggy was pretty top draw. Think I enjoyed watching those first few seasons under Lou more than the Premiership now. But that's nostalgia for you!

I was there - thanks for posting the goals, really enjoyed watching them again!
That 3rd was a cracker, he was my fav player at the time and I remember going mental when that went in, although bizarrely I've always seemed to recall it was the Beast that played him in for that back heel-over-the-top 3rd.
Can't believe there was so few of us there though!

Speaking of Steve Foley, has anyone got the video of him putting his boot into Aspin's knee?
If you have, please upload it. It was a brilliant tackle and i'm not sure he was even booked for it was he?
