I noticed on Saturday that he had been left out of Hull's last two league games. He is 29 and solid and could be a good one here to play with Shawcross. Only cost Hull 2 million a few years ago.

I like him.
But I have one issue with him as a potential signing.....why has he been dropped for Hull?

Good acquisition I would think.

He want's out and Bruce has dropped him because he's all but asked for a move away from Hull F.C. His contract is up at the end of the Season. Everton and Swansea sniffing this too. Sign him up imo!

I actually quite like him, a bit more technical then Shawcross but still no nonsense from what I've seen.

£6m????!!!!! A nice, tidy profit. There's no way we'd be in at that price. If Huth gets fit I think Hughes will stick with what we have. If Huth really is knackered then he may think again as Shawcross missing for any length of time would be catastrophic.

It's a pity but players at his level don't appear to be on our radar. We are doing the football equivalent of looking down the back of the sofa to see what's dropped out of other clubs pockets.

Too old for our current policy?
I would like him as a signing, him and Shawcross would be fantastic together, but I would imagine the club would want to not put another player between Muniesa or Tex and the first team.

The kind of player that could improve our defense as long as Huth is not back to his old best, but for nowhere close to the quoted £6M!!!

Would form a formidable partnership with Ryan. £6mill seems about right tbh.

He played on Saturday v Chelsea I know. He was left out of the two before. Even so I think we should be in for him.

No idea if Stoke would pay that AND outbid other clubs 're wages. Not really our transfer MO these days although we we're prepared to make that sort of deal for Cattermole so who knows?

Would take him at Stoke all day long.
Just what we need alongside Ryan IMO.
He'll prob end up at Sunderland, QPR or fucking Everton. They usually do.

Him and Ryan should arguably be the England centre back pairing.
