Theyre quite good as it goes, BUT save yer sheckels for when the real thing comes round !!
Floyd will do a farewell/last goodbye/thankyou/au revoir/auf wiedersehn tour at some point in the not too distant future.
Price not an objection for me if they come round.........theyre worth it mate

I saw them a few years ago and they were brilliant. I wasn't around to see Pink Floyd live so can't compare myself but a few people I know have said the Australian tribute are actually better live than the original.

I've always thought that England and Australia were 'poles apart'

Saw them in their early days at the Wheatsheaf in Stoke and they played a blinding 2 1/2 hour set of Barrett early stuff.
Saw them again about 9 to 6 years ago(memory eh) in Perth(Scotland) and they played a musically perfect Wish you were Here /Dark Side set.
If i knew for sure they'd play the early stuff again i'd be happy to pay top dollar, not that the other gig was wank like, just my bag.
Whichever era they are note perfect.

Aussie Pink Floyd played at Dave Gilmour's 50th birthday. Gilmour said he'd never actually seen Floyd live so he was wondering if they were any good!

You sure it wasn't the Kings Hall in Stoke - they played there 14th Feb 1970 - cant find a reference to the Wheatsheaf .......then not again until Trentham Nov 74...... Sadly before my time - saw them at Bingley Hall Cowshed in 77 and again at Earls Court for The Wall 1980.........

They were part of the London scene and experimentation was encouraged and embraced. Elsewhere audiences didnt get them and just wanted the two hit singles.

Saw Aussie Pink Floyd at Vicci Hall about 6 yrs ago and they were outstanding. Did the wall from start to finish, and I have gotta say Comfortably Numb was incredible, they rounded off with Wish You Were here and The Great Gig in the Sky, and their backing singer absolutely nailed it, as good as Sam Brown did live.

Aussie Floyd are great, I've seen them at the Viccy Hall a few times and if you're a Floyd fan you'll love them. Probably the best light show you'll ever see at the Vic However... If you ever get chance go and see Brit Floyd who, I believe, were founded by ex members of Aussie Floyd and are now the Premier Floyd trib' band. Sadly the Brit version won't be playing smaller venues like the Viccy Hall but believe me they're worth travelling to see Alternatively, there's a huge resource of video material on Youtube, including full concert footage
