Loads of decent pubs by the train station. There's a big wetherspoons down the high street that should be popular on the day.

There's plenty of pubs about. Uni campus not far away either (10 minute walk from the ground, 15 at most) with 2 Stonegate run pubs in there - nice food too. KP stadium is a really nice ground too, you'll enjoy it.
And if anyone braves a Maryland Chicken on the way back to the train station after the game, you're a better man than most.

I just read this on website footballgroundguide.com/leicester_city/"I have received a number of reports of away fans being treated somewhat heavily handed by the local constabulary around the stadium and of some even being 'frog marched' from the railway station to the ground. Although these measures may be deemed necessary, in order to prevent violent disorder, is doesn't do much for the overall away day experience at Leicester. Stuart Bible informs me; 'Just to confirm that the Police presence at Leicester Station is completely over the top. As a visiting QPR fan recently we were 'guided' to the Hind Pub & promptly asked to drink up at 2pm. All 25 of us were then escorted by 38 Police (I counted them) a Dog & 3 Police vans. Of the 25 were 3 children under 10! They should save their heavy handedness for the day that there might be a real threat of trouble"

Fast food outlet, you'll see 4-5 in the city. Dirt cheap chicken meals, for those of that persuasion. Also taxi's from the station to the area by the ground vary but can be around £5-£8 from experience.

Booked tickets for Leicester and Arsenal at the same time, amazed to find that while Leics was £35 for seniors, Arsenal was only £15!
Think some will be disappointed, if they don't get cracking, as we should get a good crowd there and need to win against some underdogs for a change.
