Ange has just said on Radio Stoke that if it is banned "everyone will want to do it". Well, you know where I am!

If they ban it you can guarantee a cacophony of Delilah the week after!

Anybody else oblivious about it being domestic violence?
I genuinely thought it was about nobbing the neighbours wife.

You'll be telling me we can't sing 'smack my bitch up next' Keith would be upset.
I wonder if Daffyd Duck wants to ban Land of my Fathers or Men of Harlech because their lyrics are about war, death and violence?

They'll be handing out hymn sheets next... Our Bossie, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast, in our eternal home: Beneath the shadow of thy throne The Potters have dwelt secure; Sufficient is thine grin alone, and our defense is sure. OS.

I'm a bit torn here, it's obviously a cheap effort to get publicity for domestic violence month (who knew?) so I'm inclined to ignore it but the other half of me wants to stick it up the PC brigade and launch a Campaign for xmas number 1

Senior politician Dafydd Iwan, 71, is leading a protest to ban the iconic ballad being sung by choirs at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, because he claims it depicts a brutal revenge killing of a woman.
How has this been translated as "Stoke fans could be banned from singing Delilah"?
This whole story has been twisted into something that it isn't by most of the media and even on here.
It's absolutely nothing to do with Stoke City.

Someone misinterprets something someone else said and we get 20 pages of drivel talking about what people will do if something that's not going to happen does happen. Get with the programme.

100% agree. Lets drop the domestic violence promoting anthem " Delilah" for something more peacefull and calm. I suggest " Smack my Bitch up" by the prodigy.

Surely Delilah is just a song that tells a story about a murder? As do many films, books, plays and TV dramas? So surely, for consistency, we should ban all works by, for example, Scorsese, Hitchcock, Agatha Christie and much by Shakespeare? Not to mention Eastenders and Coronation Street? Still not got over what happened to Ernest Bishop in that wages snatch at Baldwins Casuals. It was needless ...

Evil Dead, Cannibal Holocaust, The Human Centipede, A Serbian film all have nothing on the unmitigated horror of Delilah. Watch, if you dare..

Ignore it, it's the ethnic welsh politician Daffydd Iwan the well known Plaid Cymru tit, at one time he wanted to ban non welsh people buying a property in Wales. I think about Matt Lucus every time I hear the word Daffydd
