Cheers werrington, your post spurred me to look at ticket dates on club website. Notice that Chelski and Wet Sham away are consecutive Saturdays in April! Fine and dandy for me, but I genuinely feel for the good denizens of S-o-T, expensive fortnight or what?!? and neither of them when the London Marathon is on, could have been a double weekend

stokecity_joshw: Away sales update: 1,572 Rochdale, 1,150 Newcastle & 340 Villa. #stokecity #awaydays That's a bloody good effort for Newcastle already given that our followings to the north east are invariably crap and this is a Sunday televised game.

Maybe the pricing has something to do with it? £20 for Newcastle, £41 for Villa!

Cracking efforst for Newcastle even at £20, we don't tend to travel well to the North East. Won't be far from a 1,600 sell out come the game I would imagine some people will be waiting till pay day at the end of the month....

Maybe the pricing has something to do with it? £20 for Newcastle, £41 for Villa! Yes, the Villa total will no doubt creep up but the Newcastle figure is a fine effort for a televised Sunday game about 185 miles away - and price must be a big factor.

19 pounds for both Rochdale and Newcastle (student price), brilliant stuff! But not surprised we haven't sold many Villa tickets 41 pounds is scandalous.

This weekend is the first payday since Christmas for a lot of people, so I would expect a few are waiting till then for tickets. Expect over 2000+ for Rochdale and a sell out for Newcastle.

Can't see us shifting those, 2k max for this one Villa won't need them as their crowds are down, probably agreed to let us have them on sale or return so doesn't matter if we only sell a couple of thousand or so I guess....

I agree with this mate They are obviously working on the theory that even if we only sell 100 of em it's 100 £41s Liverpool Tottenham etc won't offer more after the initial allocation as they themselves can sell them but it's not the case at Villa Smacks of desperately needed cash to me
