That's it!! Wrong actress - sorry Jane. And it was a Mars bar apparently TBH, if the noble Star Bar was around in the 60s, I reckon Marianne would have given it a go.

Yorkies are pretty good. A bit like Easter egg chocolate.
It was the Marianne Faithful stuff that brought them to mind.

Caramac or strawberry pink panther bars. Caramac is an affront to decent people , had one in my selection stocking last Xmas , I'd forgotten quite how nasty they are

I am slightly surprised that no one has mentioned the Dime Bar (or is Daim, these days?).

Who remembers these from the 70s they were like KitKat but bars were horizontal. Not my all time favourite as that is reserved for Old Jamaica Chocolate Bars laced with rum soaked raisins. They have made a come-back in recent years.

Haven't seen any/many mentions of white chocolate, does anybody except young kids actually eat that shit?

Lot of good ones mars toffee crisp twirl time out double decker. Twix another superb option.
but preferring white chocolate milky bar was good but id have to say Crunch white choc as the best bar going just the whole biscuit in there too was great.
Anyone remember and also remember its advent the bar called TRIO?

Anybody else remember Marabou Delight bars from the 80's? Apparently Marabou trialed them in the UK in selected cities and Stoke was one! Used to love them but then they disappeared (guess the trial didn't go as well as they hoped) As a bit of a chocoholic, all the bars mentioned are ace!
Sent from my GT-I9195 using proboards

I knew a girl at uni who had an interesting use for a Star Bar . What was she like with a finger of fudge I've not got me brown wings, billy, so I never found out. . I suspect that, wherever it went, it would not be quite as filling as her trusty Star Bar.
