Has everyone forgotten the (winning) goal against Chelsea? One of the greatest ever seen at the Brit. no-ones forgotten that....we've just also remembered that the majority of the time he was inconsistent and his final ball was mostly not good enough. he can't play every week purely on the basis of 1 wonder goal in his career when we haven't really seen anything else like that from him before or since, especially when the player who's taken his place this season is far better than him

The word that first came to mind when I saw Assaidi was lightweight.
It still is.

He has not played due to Moses playing out of his skin, after the Liverpool game I expect him to get some starts unless v Liverpool Arnie bucks his ideas up and stakes claim to the left wing Simple as !! No great mystery here Maybe, but do you think we would still be up for paying £7m for him in January as we were 3 months ago before we were unable to agree personal terms? If not, why not? I think not. Since he has done nothing wrong since then, after all he hasn't really featured at all, then the only theory I can come up with as to our new found disinterest is when we saw what Moses can do (perhaps on a similar loan wage to Assaidi?)we realised how much better we could so for the same money with some decent scouting and the right relationships with the big boys.

waste of a loan slot if you ask me, try and loan lennon from spurs better option and not getting a game so could be available and wanting to prove something.

He should have been brought on for Moses against Burnley not Arnie.

How he didn't come on v Burnley is beyond me.
Doesn't add up, thought he was our biggest threat last season with his pace & direction.

We have given up on him despite going through hoops to try to sign him in the summer and then taking him on loan when that did not work out. But truth is when push comes to shove we wouldn't trust him to run a whelk store so why all the effort and money to sign him. Still don't get it.
