I had the misfortune of meeting MP Mitchell last year at some African Oil & Gas shindig in London. Not my cup of tea Im afraid...he gave an opening speech with a quip about his side of this case and it was time. Very arrogant I found him

Found a free guardian link the jocks will probably take offence but in the grand scheme of things it is not offensive to me, but everybody in public office especially Government MP's should not use such slack language, it does send the right message , makes you look stupid embarrasses your party and takes away from the message you are trying to get out. his words are not offensive to me because I call places in the middle of nowhere "the arse end of a place". the blatant stupidity of him after mitchell, thorneberry and mellor deeply offends me, because these people should know better. however I understand the point he is trying to make about tax affairs but his language leaves a lot to be desired. Its similar to the bullard situation on IACGMOOH. Use what ever language you want in private, but in public you have a responsibility. Otherwise you get evicted or have shit stories about you in the sun. The expenses scandal started to clean up the grubby monetary parts of politics, I'm hoping these latest "scandals" for want of a better word will get the leaders to drum into their members the need for humility, the need that the politicians are there for the people not the other way around
