Thought it was the game against the Shit, Pete?
Even better then as I'm at Anfield but not Old Trafford.
Well done, Skipper a true Stoke City legend in every sense of the word.
I'm sure you will get a heroes reception worthy of your status on Saturday.

Great achievement and super pro. 300 in 7 years and at 27 he could go another 7 years and beat Eric Skeels 606 record. Here's hoping.

I was there that day. A very eventful day in the sun for Ryan! Played really well, got his goal and then gave a penalty away in the last minute. Thankfully Simmo made sure his strike was a winner though and someone with a big gob (no prizes for guessing who before anyone that knows me jumps in!) was bellowing out his name as Nigel Johnson interviewed Ryan pitch side while we were locked in the away end at Ninian Park. Proud to be able to say I was there at his first and 300th Stoke City appearance then.

Legend That term is used too loosely but in this case along with Fuller it stands tall They will both be spoken of in the same terms as Smith, Greenhoff and Hudson in years to come

Like I say, glad it isn't though and I'll be there to see it.

Basically, we can't trust Soccerbase etc. and have gone back through Martin Spinks's meticulous record book.

Ric and Ryan (along with Steino) are Stoke's modern day legends in my eyes and can proudly rub shoulders with the brightest names in our history.

Legend Without a doubt. It's been an absolute pleasure watching him grow into the player and captain he is today. He's stood up to all the biased and uneducated bullshit thrown at him over the years, and conducted himself with class, dignity and pride. The fact that some people within the game have refused to see how good he is, and others have seemingly tried to derail his career with blatant lies is an absolute disgrace, and something that shouldn't have happened. Even so, he's held his head up high through all of it and better still, he's been wearing a Stoke City shirt while he was doing it. The epitomy of class. Love the bloke.

Is this 300 appearances for Stoke, or all club appearances, including his time with Antwerp?

When he first came on loan general consensus was that he was going to be a good player but was a bit raw & needed some time - a few months maybe - to get up to speed. It took him 3 games. Consumate defender. Anyone remember the Vale fan who posted on here when he signed saying he was garbage (Vale played The Shit reserves in a friendly that summer)? Wonder if he ever owned up to being very wrong?
