Apart from the times Mama (three times), Higgy and Huth did their knees, Ethers pulled his hamstring, Ric tore his achilles, Wilko had several niggles or Tommy Sorenson pulled out of games several times just prior to kick off, no, we never had any injuries. We also won't mention Rory's broken leg. or Marc Wilson's, Ric's dislocated shoulders and many more. Last season was actually the best season we had for not suffering injuries, so much so that an article was written on the merits of the coaching staff and medical team.

If playing Diouf out wide means having Crouch in the middle then that negates the advantage of having that pace out wide. I still think we'll have no option but Diouf up top with Bojan behind and flanked by Walters and Arnie. We won't have Assaidi on the bench against Liverpool so our Plan B is limited.

Agreed - there is some merit in playing Crouch at home to hold up the ball and bring others into play, as MBD first touch is a pass (often to the opposition); however, our counter-attacking away tactics require pace on the break from at least 3 players, and especially the one leading the line. We need another Spurs away performance, and the team should be as close as possible (barring injuries/illness) to that starting XI.

Like I've said in this thread our injury list isn't even in the top three worst in the Premier League. Shit happens and we've just had some bad luck.

I said on here a while ago that my concern with us now having pacey players was that pacey players are prone to injuries like hamstrings and thigh problems because of their explosive pace and power. Then some dick head on here piped up 'oh well we'll just by slow players then eh'. No. Just making the point that pacey players can have these problems more than others. Owen, sturridge, wallcott, moses, chamberlain etc.

This is probably tripe, but my nephew who lives in London (Chelsea fan) has told me that Moses has been sent back to Chelsea and is not injured at all.
Apparently (he says), Moses and Hughes had a bit of a falling out.
Take that with a pinch of salt - I did.
