Dunno about Arnie but it's certainly time for one fucker to step up to the plate. Couldn't agree more 'sheik'! Can't keep spending nothing window after window after window. Teams that do that like Bolton end up in the Championship!

It's looking like we'll never be able to field our full strength team this season. We'll be fucked if anything happens to Bojan, imagining the team without Bojan and Moses is scary. I thought the team did ok last season withou these pair.gutted for moses but it gives arnie a chance to replicate his form from last season. we did do ok last year without this pair....but we had Odemwingie who we also miss badly at the moment. no Odemwingie on the right and no Moses on the left means we're left relying on someone or other to start playing out of their skin. Arnie is hit and miss and Assaidi has always been hit and miss since we had him and we basically have a choice of SJW or no-one down the right. to say it's a worrying time with the fixtures we have coming up is an understatement

People are quick to say we need to spent money, and I think they're correct... but who? Keita from Lazio? Depay from PSV?

Assaidi and Arnautovic have proven to be very good wingers. Let's hope they step up to the mark.

its highly possible that he may push Diouf wide and bring Crouch back (shudder) Crouch and Walters should never be in the same starting 11. Walters, diouf, Arnie for the trip to anfield. And with Assaidi unavailable we have a wealth of other attacking options to call on. Expect Crouch on at some point

Coates needs to step up to the plate. We are in dire need of an experienced centre half and a decent winger. Hughes needs to find an Etherington in January. I have a bad feeling about the way the season is unfolding.

Comments on text suggest that he may go back to Chelsea for his treatment.
Unless they terminate the loan I guess we cannot make another loan signing from within our leagues? Europe? beyond?

Wow, doom and gloom on here - Moses is out for a while, but we do have Arnie and Ossie, both of whom should be more than capable of filling his boots IF on form.
As for spending, what was Hughes supposed to say - we have £5m to spend in January? We always keep our cards close to our chests on funds available, so as not to get bled dry by prospective sellers. We do need a centre half, and Hughes must see that. We need to find one that fits our budget and fits our team. Often January buys are panic buys, and sellers want over the odds for any of their regulars. The best business is definitely done in the summer, but I think our need is urgent, so it's up to Cartwright and his lads to uncover a gem.

Club have just released a statement saying 6 weeks out for Moses, but Marc Wilson could be back for trip to Anfield. Thank fuck for that. For a moment I was starting to be worried. Never fear, SMW is here.

I hope both Arnie and Assaidi perform over the coming weeks.
This kind of situation is exactly what Assaidi was bought in for.
As for Arnie, now he'll get the run of games that many fans believe he needs.

Arnie is a shade of the player he was last season and Wingie is crocked. Take Moses and Bojan out of the team and we have zero creativity.

Assaidi and Arnautovic have proven to be very good wingers. Let's hope they step up to the mark. Assaidi still needs to prove it, but at lest the injury gives Arnie a chance, just hope he shows his previous good form from last season.

Expect Crouch on at some point No problem with substitutions but they should never start together outside of absolute emergencies. If crouch starts the wide options have to be diouf and Arnie

And he didn't even try to run it off. That's Chelsea's Victor Moses for you, eh? Doesn't alter the fact that he is a complete fanny who pulls up injured on 55 minutes of every game only to be fit again the following week. If his problem is persistent a spell out will do him good. When he's fit again hopefully we will get 90 minutes out of him more often.

It's no surprise that when both came on on Saturday we looked devoid of ideas

A fit and firing Odemwingie or Victor Moses ?
IMHO Odemwingies injury has been the biggest single reason why we haven't scored more goals, his direct running and natural finishing ability have been sorely missed. For me Moses is no where near as effective but of cause without PO as well we are being shorn of our attacking threat.

Moses, Assaidi and Odimwingie all missing up front Saturday Add to that virtually the whole of the defence out last Saturday and still Hughes will get cut no slack by many Just the kind of stuff I used to get in early.

It's no surprise that when both came on on Saturday we looked devoid of ideas Arnie on a bad day is more of a threat than crouch as evidenced at Sunderland where Arnie was toss yet still better than crouch. Same again was true on Saturday.
