He was at the soccer 7s presentation the other month.
Seems a nice guy. Hughes rates him highly

I'm extremely excited at the prospect of seeing a Stoke City supporter become a Premiership star for us. He seems like a really level-headed and determined kid so hopefully he can allow us to live our collective dreams vicariously through him.

how good is he? never seen him play Seen him once, against Pompey in the Cup. How good is he? He looks very, very good. Wants the ball, good when he's got the ball, not afraid to run at goal and shoot at goal. The promise is there, God willing he'll come as good as he looks.

To be fair he pretty much only had Charlie Ward to pass it to.

We at SL&P believe it's a 3 year contract, that's what was offered whether it was tweaked prior to signing ???

Stoke probably would of wanted longer due to the small wage he would be on for the contract, probably about £800-£1000 a week. (Note small wage for footballer not for any normal person). Expect if he becomes a regular next season a review of the contract would be done.

Is this the start of him growing into the first team? I hope so would love to see feature on the bench and bring on if we are in a position to do so. Good luck to him hopefully this will just be the start of our academy growing now.

Been with Stoke for ten years! If I was him I'd already be telling the rest of the senior squad about how I was the longest-serving player.

Bring him in to the first team when we know we're safe, continue to do so next season. If he continues to impress stick him on a 5 year deal £25 mill buy out clause.

Good luck to the lad but if there's one area of the pitch that we're not too short its there:-
Adam, Ireland, Nzonzi, Whelan, Bojan, Sidwell, Palacios(?) Cameron.
I wonder if a loan somewhere is on the cards.

A lot of clubs are after him, Very talented football player. His natural position is left hand side of midfield but been playing a free roll for the Under 21's
Useful Opening Batsmen/Wicketkeeper at cricket too
