Same team as Clyde but can't make my mind up between Bego and But land. If pushed I would give Butland a go and give Bego a rest

Why the fuck would you drop Diouf - he was superb at Spurs and suits the counter attacking style like a hand in a glove
He may have struggled yesterday but he had just returned from international duty

Bego. Although he needs to be dropped if any more mistakes. Been shite this season. Cameron- better than Bardsley Shawcross Wilson Pieters Zonz Whelan Arnie- wasn't bad at all yesterday apart from his crossing which is normally very good. Bojan Moses Walters.- convinced he is our best striker. Diouf can't control the ball, and although I love Crouch I think Walters would score more than him up top.

I think Wilson will walk straight back into the side if fit. I agree. It also strikes me our players come back better after a break for injury or suspension, but I would be quite content for Muniesa to play alongside Ryan.

He will pick Crouch to deal with Skirtel's physicalness.

My team is:
Bego (last chance saloon) Bardsley(our best RB) Shawcross(our best CB) Wilson (our 2nd best CB) Pieters (our best LB)
Walters (our highest goal scorer and hardest trier) Sidwell (improving and doesn't deserve dropping) N'Zonzi (needs to buck his ideas up - could be displaced by Sidwell with Whelan stopping back) Moses Bojan
Diouf
Subs to include: Whelan, Muniesa, Crouch, Adam, Crouch, Shenton, Butland

Depends on how we will want to play for me. We are the tale of two different teams.
Attacking;
Bego
Cameron Shawcross Muniesa Pieters Nzonzi Whelan Walters Bojan Arnie Crouch
Park the bus like Man City;
Bego
Bardsley Shawcross Muniesa Pieters Walters Nzonzi Sidwell Whelan Arnie Diouf

Ok so now Moses has been ruled out, will the stategy of hitting Liverpool on the break have to change? If Wilson & Pieters are fit I guess the obvious is
Bego Bardsley Ryan Wilson Pieters Nzonzi Whelan/Sidwell Walters Bojan Arnie Diouf
I think at home a week on Sat I'd be tempted get Crouch back in the team and play two up top

Sidders has done little wrong, we just need the disciplined defensive shield that is Whelan back in the team pronto.

I have a feeling throwing a returning Wilson into it right off away versus Balotelli and Liverpool is asking for it. Muniesa for me this Saturday.

" Injured Italy striker Mario Balotelli has not travelled to Bulgaria, meaning England forward Rickie Lambert is expected to retain his place." Might still be injured? Him and Arnie are mates as well, they'd both just be dicking around on the pitch. See who can look least bothered competition.

Almost everyone has Arnie in their team.
A triumph of hope over expectation.
We need a team. That's 11 men prepared to put in a shift and not give it away. Selection of Arnie on all form this season simply isn't warranted. He should be on the bench with ballotelli unless the managers agree to a pact to play a lethargic prima donna each.

Eitherway Lambert or a returning Balotelli will have a go at our defense. Prefer the more direct and physical route of Muniesa and especially his leaping ability against their aerials. He attacks the ball on corners and inbound lobs I like that about him.

Bego Bardsley Ryan Muni Pieters Sidwell Nzonzi Walters Bojan Arnie Diouf
Bardsley, Muni and Sidwell better than Cameron, Wilson and Whelan.
Arnie isn't lazy he is clever enough to get into the right position, his body language is from frustration but he will fit in great with Bojan and Diouf.

His form has been worrying but to say he doesn't put a shift in is wrong, he tracks back far more than Moses for example. Liverpool's full backs like to bomb forward, I'd play Arnie rather than a more defensive minded player as we need to give them something to think about rather than sit back. They're there to be got at in my opinion....

That's pretty fair, we are certain to come under the hammer here and could cop a real belting in all truth. If so we will need to just take it on the chin and move on.

Has got to be the perfect game for Arnie tomorrow with the space behind there full backs ripe for the taking. As such would like to see Bego Cameron - Shawcross - Wilson - Muniesa Whelan- Nzonzi Walters - Bojan - Arnie Diouf
But hey thats just my opinion

This game will be as easy to win as lose.
Given our record against them we are long overdue a win but the the list of walking wounded doesn't look to be shortening just at the moment, which is a worry with the games we are heading into. Having said that we tend to play better when there is a little less expectation from us, a trait that if we are ever going to move onto the fabled 'next level' will have to change eventually.
Anyway some of the bindippers at work aren't confident about this fixture given there form and ability to let in as many as they score. Probably got draw written all over it.
